Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Thats an intelligent project for once .

You should just make a vertical one tho , or you will have to make some sort of motor analog logic to orient the right direction with pressure sensors.

Make them vertical or you will be asking for trouble .

See tommy reeds videos on how to modify an alternators shaft so you can recycle them

You need rechargeable battery bank and an inverter(s) , pure sine preferable .

It can be hard but its gonna be alot of work , great to learn tho so you can do it for other people after .

If the total height gets into the skyscraper ranges, I think you may have to consider making it in seperately rotating units. Wind direction at the bottom is not necessarily the same as on top.
And to dampen rotational oscillations from wind direction changes, there are generators turning the turning into additonal electric power output.

For wind projects, I think we'll be mostly restricted to the ground, or even horizon surface we use up. So indeed, using also invisible surface, with a design sucking in more wind for its own benifit, seems logical. We're not conduction false competition with a neighbouring wind contest object here. Both at the front and back. Create some vortices that offer preferable high/low pressure area's, that get us to suck the air through our fans and ducts with more punch.

theres been a lot of study into wind, air foil design, mapping the worlds wind resources, etc. Take a look thru the DOE docs on the subject, pretty interesting.
History is full of people who out of fear,
Or ignorance, or lust for power have
destroyed knowledge of immeasurable
value which truly belongs to us all.

WE must not let it happen again.

By the sound of that giant fan, and the hair of the guys in the vid, I would have to say that such design is much less efficient than it should be, or to be generous, could be....

The future, such as it is, in small enterprise wind power generation, lies in making efficient use of wind at ground level, or the roof top.

Ever try and hold a full sheet of 1/4" plywood in even a modest wind? Much less 15mph and above?  One answer lies in catching the wind, not deflecting it.  Think of the efficient shape you might create which meets the wind head on, making use of both positive pressure and negative drag at the same time....!

I'm at this moment, reminded of that song, what was it....you know, with the lyrics that go:

"I get knocked down, I get up again"....over and over

I'm sure one of you creative types could easily work out the dynamics of letting the wind blow you over, then efficiently righting yourself in an efficient cycle, no?  That's one easy and efficient system you've got there!

If one chooses to get a bit more technical, ever watch a fish sit nearly motionless just under the surface of a clear, fast moving stream, expending hardly any energy while you are nearly knocked off your feet by the fast moving water?  Then, quick as a flash, the fish kicks in the afterburners and darts up stream, seemingly effortlessly?  Highly efficient reciprocal use of positive and negative pressures!
