Know what you mean.  I just travelled a highway out in the middle of nowhere and it is very flat land.  No nothing but cows and towers.  No population and you can see one blinking every 15miles or so.

I think it's exactly what they're doing, they're sampling the population for a series of frequencies which will ultimately enslave us all.  Fortunately we have the ability to change.

Perhaps they're trying to kill innovation, cause stagnation and ultimately conform us all to the toils of labor which they find favorable.

I'm not sure why this is, the only real explanation is extraterrestrial interference - beckoning those currently in power with great delusions of the future while furnishing themselves a mechanism of control.

It's funny how I worded all of that isn't it?

On second thought, it may be some sort of 'god' frequency they're looking for:  it would have a multiplicative effect, as much creation as it could unlock, it could unlock just as much destruction.

People would be dosing on it, intoxicated by they're own frequency, and when they unplug - withdrawal would have an opposite effect.
