Interrupting magnetic field to cause Gravity fall

Interrupting the magnet to cause the Steel block to fall experiment, this is for the study of getting a devise to utilize gravity as a mover like on a gravity type wheel.

I don't know if everyone is fluent with this concept and I apologize for rushing this image this morning because I had five minutes to construct it before work.

the 'interruption' of a magnetic field may help those who are seeking a gravity assisted type device.

Hello Jerry,
A very interesting,new and novel approach.
A couple of things,if you don't mind.
1. How much force will be needed to remove
Magnetic Shield?
2. Where will the Iron Block fall to?
3. What triggers the removal of MS (1)

Since I really do like the Idea,I will try to answer my questions.

1. Wheel1 made of consecutive Slotted Barriers.
2.Magnet permanently attached to SB(slotted barriers)
3.Wheel2 inside Wheel1,Wheel2 with eccentric orbit,
Wheel2 with same axle as Wheel3,but off center.
4.Wheel2 is rounded ends,triangle shaped,made of
Meta Glass.(or suitable magnetic flow blocker)
5.Wheel2 being of a triangle size that covers 3/4th
(inside area without MS))of inside of Wheel1.
6.Wheel3 being segmented,ie:iron,plastic,iron,plastic
iron,plastic,etc.
7.Wheel3 being very rigid (possibly AL)?so as to run
as close as possible without touching Wheel1 to
prevent killer friction.

Problems:
1a.Wheel1 will have to be constructed in a matter that
Wheel2 can rotate freely inside slotted barriers.I would guess rectangular instead of square slots.
2a.Wheel2 shaped triangular could be incorrect,as
there would be a need for 2-3 Iron Segments.Un-Shielded(gravity=falling) at all times,Wheel3 being prime mover.
3a.Wheel1 will be stationary.
4a.Positive thinking forward,magnet,iron selection.
5a.Consideration given to material of Wheel1,Aluminum may NOT be a good choice.
6a.Every thing posted in my name is open for ANY and ALL readersto change,re-desighn,correct.
7a.Criticism is welcome.I am new here.You are not.
8a.My pen name,Judges,is taken from the KJV.

Conclusion:
1b.Good idea,cutting edge, w/magnetic shielding,weight of this is not that important.
2b.This (1b,1. and 3a. above) being the stationary, Wheel1

When choosing one of Metglas's alloys, are we looking for one with the highest incidence of magnetostriction?

I've seen shielding bounced around as an idea on various forums but have no idea as to what would constitute a good magnetic shield.

How would an ideal shield behave as far as reordering the path of magnetic flux?

EDIT:

OK, I looked around a little on Google, looks like it's all about permeability and attenuation - some pretty high-dollar stuff out there for mag shielding!
