I'm betting if you had a YouTube channel and woke up to dozens of vulgar defamatory comments by a very small group of people who kept making additional YouTube accounts in order to post additional comments you would disable them too, rather than waste your time spending all day moderating comments when you actually have real work to do.

Considering none of us would do what you / he  has done, we have no fear of such an attack, further more if we happened to copy someone else work by mistake and we found out about it,  The person would be man enough to take it on the chin and apologize. Not like TT and start a political campaign to see who is the better sales man ....  No one has cussed you out although I am sure that Slayer can prove your abuse towards him.  You or TT want to sue me for speaking the truth... BRING IT ON!

I'd just like to say that DesertExperimenter isn't what I would call a typical Australian,
I cringe when I see video's like that. If that video was shown to a court he would be likely classed as a raving loon.
I doubt it would have any effect on the kickstarter people, except to drop their jaws in wonder for a bit.
Like many others he libels people without even being aware of his actions, vilifying people in text is not a good idea.
It's kinda weird if you ask me, all this ruckus over a few components arranged on a board that no one has any intellectual rights to.
When we post stuff online as open source we agree to allow anyone to use the circuits any way they wish.

If we look at open source software I think it can be modified packaged and sold on legally.  It might not seem right but I think
it is a risk we take when we post our circuits online in public for public use.

At least he called it a slayer variant, he could have called it anything, my suggestion to him is drop all reference to slayer.
What is slayers circuit a variant of ? Does slayer give credit to the designer of the circuit he modeled his own around ?
Is slayers circuit original in all respects, as in what it does or it's component parts ?
I've never  really looked to closely at slayers circuits but from what I can tell
it's just a feedback oscillator isn't it ? All circuits are just variants of each other, there are only a few core components.

Personally I think you guys should look more to the safety aspect of it if you want to stop it.
I have Tesla coils both large and small continuous wave circuits and non continuous wave designs, HV and LV
and I agree when you fire up a Tesla coil and you are near it you become swamped with it's field, if it
works well and has any power, I wouldn't consider continuous use of them "safe",
especially not with children around, and that's not even considering electric shock or fire hazards.

As well as that they interfere with radio reception and could be considered a breech of some law if the power exceeds a certain amount.
An experiment every now and then is not so bad as having one run all night to power a night light or something. They cause radio interference
and if it happens to affect an emergency radio frequency would you feel good about that ? Is anyone aware of the frequencies they can use and
the frequencies they should stay away from to avoid problem interference ?

I don't see any infringement of intellectual rights.

Can someone post "The Slayer Exciter circuit" which is supposedly slayers to control or have rights to ?

We are more than aware that the best step will be to aim at safety of the device at question, I think your long winded explanation there was to cover up for your dislike of me ? in any order I am not here to make friends, only to make a difference, don't care what you want to call me, but know it wont go unnoticed.


If anyone does the wrong thing, I will happily call them out, weather it be something against the law or by morals... they will hear from me, if you don't like than, then maybe you should get up on the soap box and have a go, if not me, then who is around to keep the bastards honest, if you don't have what it takes to step up on that soap box then leave it to someone who is.


Having someone is better than no-one.  If don't like my videos and cringe so much over them .... stop watching them FFS it's not like that's any form of rockets science .....
