Hi :)

I'm replicating the SSG but not getting rotation.

The coil hums so the circuit is oscillating.
I am not using the neon at the moment but that is a safety feature.

I ordered wire according to spec forgetting that it's specified in american wire gauge but i am in UK so my ratio of power-wire to trigger-wire size is good but the actual size is roughly half of the SSG official spec.

Power wire is 0.28mm, trigger wire is 0.25mm.

How important is wire gauge ?

Thanks.
