"formally" these are supported, but inreally they are suppressed, BECAUSE they are the best thing actually out there. Wind and solar are totally awesome and overwhelmingly powerful, if implemented on person-by-person scale. One turbine and one solar panel per person on the planet, and oil spills are over, by lack of oil.
