  ...concept,this time with three spare parts,only (a wire,a magnet and a battery),you can find easy on youtube  .

    If you agree,we have one spare part ,only (the wire) ,the two others representing the playing fields and the power source.

    Regarding the topic of this forum,if the simplicity is the "top view" (and the commencement...) of the understanding,knowledge ...why not to think alike?!

     Let's say,as a fancy,that the power source (battery) is "perpetual"...has it the "status of PM"?

     Sure,this is a nonsense:an electrical battery,an electric voltage difference (a limited power storage) is a temporary current source...we must replace it again and again.

     But how about a gravitational level difference (gravitational potential fall),if we presume it as a "battery" (perpetual mechanical power storage) ?!

     As an analogy,with the simplest electric motor,thinking about the possibility to imagine the simplest gravity motor,we have:

          -battery(current) ~ gravity (fall)

          -magnet ~inertial property of space

          -wire ~ ?...here is your suggestion !...

A gravity (powered) motor is a better denomination than the classical PM (perpetual motion machine-a machine that can continue to work indefinitely,without drawing energy from some external source ).

As a "black box problem",with no input ,it's an absurd,ridiculous,meaningless "puzzle"...you know the history of this "toxic" description.

A motor is a device (machine) that converts any form of energy into mechanical energy.

An electric motor converts electricity into mechanical motion.

A possible gravity motor ,is supposed to convert natural gravity motion into workable mechanical power.

A possible gravity powered motor,can draw energy from a "perpetual input" (gravitational level difference can be an analogous of the electric"battery" ):so,
the "black box problem" has an input.

If we have the simplest electrical motor,why not the simplest gravity (powered) motor,also?!

  .....can it be an electric motor (three spare parts,only) ,or a possible gravity motor (how many spare parts?!) ,they have a common conceptual element :the power supply.

      An electric battery is a temporary,used only for a time  energy source.

      A gravity level difference is for ever,at any time...perpetual spring,mechanical power source.

      We know that gravity potential is   "m*g*h" ,so we can play,vary "m" and "h" ,for the same potential power input.

      Thinking about the everlasting friction ,this "motion taxation" ,we can minimize the "m" /mass equivalent...and lengthen the  "h"/fall (size).
