To loner,In the early 1990's I began to see the chains.I got interested in high mileage carburetor's and ordered a book on them from Lindsey's books.It contained more than one patent.More like 8 or more.After seeing the 200 mpg carburetor  suppressed and the inventor(who had sold out) given a top job in an oil filter plant and oh yeah ,he could use one himself until he died without further attacks from the oil business.I started seeing us for the sheep that we are.6 years before I bought a 50mpg car in the 1980's and because chevy stopped making them 2 years later.There were no engines for it after 10 years.I replaced four engines in that car and could not find a fifth one for less than $600 and less than 100,000 miles on it.So their boardroom decisions took my 50 mpg car away from me(1986 chevy sprint)(standard).So the control was far worse than I had thought.
In ten years I had driven it all over the eastern united states on my vacations.triffid

The new engines made for the car that replaced mine (the chevy spectrum) would not fit in the chey sprint that I had bought and paid for already.

(To triffid and loner) I’m sure glad that at least some people are able to see the hidden chains of slavery for what they are. 

I love the example that triffid gave concerning the 200 mile per gallon carburetors.  Personally, I believe the “GEET” carbureted system was the biggest scare to “Big Oil” of all.  They were able to suppress Paul Pantone by having him thrown in a state psychiatric hospital without his family even knowing where he was being “treated” (incarcerated) indefinitely.  I’ve seen the “GEET” system first hand so I know for a fact it really performs as advertised.  Paul Pantone (once he was able to get out of the state mental hospital by his family putting pressure on politicians) decided to stop doing business in the U.S. (because of the long arms of Big Oil) and he now offers “GEET” systems and technical schools in Europe for those interested in building or repairing his products.  Paul has a VERY large following (yes he and “GEET” are very popular) with European farmers who are saving unprecedented amounts of fuel. 

Why did Pantone’s system scare them more than any other carbureted system?  I can tell you exactly why.  Paul Pantone’s “GEET” system will run on RAW CRUDE OIL.  That is, it is able to run an internal combustion engine with UNREFINED crude oil.  Think about that for a moment.  Here in the U.S., we import a majority of our crude oil from other oil producing countries.  If ANY car manufacturer here were to strike a deal with Paul Pantone, what would we need the huge American Oil Companies for?  We in fact would not.  We would then be able to deal directly with foreign crude oil producing countries completely eliminating the middle man.  After all, there’s no need for refineries if the automobile is able to run on raw crude oil and foreign oil companies have and sell more of it than American oil companies do making their prices much more affordable.
