Cylinder, horizontally mounted, with several panels running its length. One side of each panel black, the other white.

Any way to use the difference in temperature between the panel sides to generate movement?

If so, intersperse a load of Sprain, or other motors, along the length of the cylinder, and use the torque generated by the sun to get over the sticky spot.
