I know I will get shot down in flames for this lol

Mark, where did you get that picture at the top of that article?
im gona lift u up for that not shoot you down @markdansie,dont get any weird ideas.now that you,ve confessed to magnetism affecting plasmas we can effectively reduce the number of degrees of freedom of energy states in eg.papps device and increase our chances of biased thermal motion through such gases, and consequently increase our chances of a thermodynamics discrepency.

Hi TK
Here is the source I got it from
http://www.kit.edu/visit/pi_2013_13701.php (http://www.kit.edu/visit/pi_2013_13701.php)
Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is a public corporation according to the legislation of the state of Baden-Württemberg. It fulfills the mission of a university and the mission of a national research center of the Helmholtz Association. Research activities focus on energy, the natural and built environment as well as on society and technology and cover the whole range extending from fundamental aspects to application.
No, I don't mean that one, I mean the one at the very top. The one of the psark. Where did you find that picture?
Hi TK
It was on the first page of Google images under Magnetism plasma

Well, I looked thru the first 15 pages of that link and I can't find that image.
However.... just so you know..... here is a full size full resolution copy, along with an image of the apparatus that made the psark: my TinselKoil 2.0. And I've also included another image, showing a small Ball Lightning, from the same series.
I don't mind being plagiarized, actually I find it flattering ... but it would be nice to have some credit.

"Confessed" to magnetism affecting plasmas? Why "confessed"? Is it some kind of heresy to assert that magnetic fields affect plasmas?
Plasmas carry current. Current is charge in motion. Charges in motion create magnetic fields by their motion, and respond to changing external fields by moving. If you arrange your plasma to resemble a linear conductor it will behave like a wire wrt magnetic fields. If you have a more diffuse plasma the response may be harder to detect but it will still happen: charges move in response to changing fields, and moving charges create fields, no matter what the conductive medium is.

@tk..a plasma gas,s randomness is going to become somewhat more orderly under influence of magnetism regarding pathway collisions between atoms thus it is going to expand easier in one direction than the other thus we introduce less of possible entropy states thus increase chances of assymetrical thermodynamics that favour creating ambient temperature sinkholes at zero energy expense.why do you think markdansie said,'i hope i dont get shot down'?who would shoot him down except the naysayers of o.u. on this instance.

I'm with you this far.

Now you've lost me. I understand all the words, and some of the phrases make sense, but when I read the whole thing I just see more of the usual claims without evidence.
And I don't know why Mark is worried about being shot down; the article he posted seems legit.
I would like to know the "chain of custody" of that image of mine, though. I think I did post it on this forum some time ago. It makes a good desktop background image for your computer!
I will be happy to give you credit I would have if i had known. Coming from OU. com I thought i twas ok
I will amend the site
Mark

No worries, Mark! It was just an interesting little "shock" to see my image there next to a paragraph about somebody else's work. I know that once something is released to the wild internet it is out of one's control.
But I thought you might like the full-resolution version, and to see the thing that made the psark. (I call it that because it's a combination of a "spark" discharge and a power arc. ) The TinselKoil 2 is a rather unique SSTC in the 1 - 2 kiloWatt power range.
Please feel free to use the large version of the psark shots however you like. (But if you manage to make any money from it, maybe you could cut me in.) It would be nice if you could mention where it came from. No magnetic fields in the vicinity, other than the 300 kHz oscillating one of the coil itself!

Cheers--
