Dear Researchers,
I am putting together an instruction sheet in preparation for the big day when you have the smoking gun and you are willing to share the exact build details. The smoking gun, a free energy machine that is self-sustaining, that recirculates enough energy from the output into the input to run forever or until the machine eventually breaks. A machine that demonstrates significant free energy. Light bulbs would be great such a demonstration. This is my present instruction sheet, subject to change:
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE THE SMOKING GUN:
1. Video the machine working if possible. Try to keep the machine as open as possible. Make a few copies of the video.
2. Write a detailed instructional document on how to build the free energy machine. This would include every possible detail I could think of including where I bought each part, any possible construction photos. Remember, this document must start like an advertisement. You will have no trouble convincing the FE community but it's the general public that you must also convince. You will be Xeroxing and handing out these documents to the people. You must start with a catchy phrase that will convince them this is for real, that you really have a free energy machine, that runs by itself and generates a significant amount of demonstratable power, that you are not scamming anyone, that you are freely giving the exact detailed build instructions, and that your goal is to get as many people to replicate your machine before a company or government may suppress it. You may want to headline that this is a NEWS ALERT and you are NOT SELLING ANYTHING. Also please add that you will demonstrate your machine to anyone in public everyday at such and such time at such and such park or beach, etc. Include your email address and/or website and possibly a phone number. If you do not have a web site then create a dummy address as follows, http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:YourName Replace YourName with your actual name and leave out the blanks and only use letters-- leave the : in the address, just after Directory. This is a legitimate website owned by Sterling. I am certain Sterling will be more than happy to aid you with this. Since this is a vital project, ask sterling to lock / protect the web pages so nobody can modify them. Until then, I think it is very safe that such an address will be reserved for you when you need it. Let the people know that the peswiki.com web page will not be complete until a few days. Tell them the video and further details will be offered there. Add to the document a request from the people. Ask them to contact the TV & Radio stations, Newspapers, etc. Additionally, ask them to replicate the machine and spread the news.
3. Print a hard coded copy of the step-2 document, above.
4. Email and post the documents like crazy and then get the heck out of there. Include several TV and Radio stations in your email from CNN to Art Bell and Drudge. Don't send individual emails. Type one email address in the To and type the rest of the emails in the Bcc. The Bcc is the proper place since it's the same thing as sending individual emails. If you type all the emails in the CC or To, then everyone will see hundreds of email addresses in the CC or To and will think it's Spam. Post just the top several free energy sites. Now get out of there-- who knows how long the MIB's take to reach your doorstep, lol. If it doesn't take much time, then ftp your video to a server. If the video is under one megabyte, then email the video to a few key people such as Sterling and Stephan.
5. Get your prepared list of addresses and phone numbers of where you are going to go such as the TV and radio stations, etc. Also bring your printed copy of the step-2 document.
6. Go to a Xerox copy store. Make as many copies of the step-2 document as possible, within reason. Perhaps a few thousand will suffice. Remember, you will want to hand these copies to the public.
7. Before going to the media, I think it's vital to hand out at least several hundred fliers. Play it safe and don't get caught up with any University or Mall police. Decide where you find the most people who you can convince to replicate your machine. Perhaps Universities may not be your best choice as they may be the most skeptical. You may want to choose a city first based upon average income. Although the more poor folks may want free energy more than the rich folks, then may not have the money to replicate your machine, unfortunately. On the other hand, the rich folks may not care as much. Perhaps the middle class will be your best bet. For myself, I live within driving distance to Hollywood. That may be my best bet as there are plenty of open-minded folks. :-) You must also decide where exactly you are going to go. If to the Mall, then is it legal to freely hand people fliers? The Mall police may think you are conducting business inside the Mall. Perhaps your best bet is a Swap meet or a shopping Mall parking lot. You could place the documents underneath their windshield wiper. Although I am uncertain how many people will simply crumble the paper before reading it. I would not go door to door in residential area. Someone will probably not like what you are trying to achieve and call the police. Perhaps a swap meet would be a good choice. You want a place where there are a lot of people, where it seems legal and ok to hand out fliers. Depending where you go, you'll have to decide if best to take your free energy machine with you. That is, if you can carry it around.
8. Go to the media. Here you'll want to take your machine with you although perhaps not at first. First you'll need to convince the secretary. If you seem sincere and not a quack, she'll probably call someone. Hopefully the person she calls will come down and see you. You'll probably not want to tell the secretary that it's a free energy machine. Perhaps tell her it's vitally important and the discovery of the century and that you have the machine in the car ready for demonstration. When the person comes down to see you, then you may want to offer a demonstration. Hopefully they get a camera person to video your machine. This is a great opportunity to give the media person a copy of your video. If you are very lucky and arrive at the right time, they may even put you on live TV, but don't count on it.
9. Now you may want to take your Xeroxed documents and free energy machine to the universities and colleges. First try to politely get the attention of the electrical and physics teachers. Offer a demonstration and at least hand them a document. Then you may want to hand out documents to students walking around the campus.
10. Toward the top of your document you should offer a daily public demonstration. If you did a good job at convincing the people you are legitimate and your document seems professional, then you will get people showing up to see your machine. You'll probably want to demonstrate the machine every day at a specified time in a public location. Please do not give out your home or work address. Tell the people that you will demonstrate the machine at a local park or beach at such and such a time. You will want to do daily demonstrations, in public. If fact, you will want to mention in your step-2 document that you are going to give public demonstrations at such and such park or beach at such and such time. You will get plenty of people showing up. I can promise you that eventually you will get 1000's and 1000's of people showing up. Make sure it is a HUGE park. Eventually you may want to appoint a person to take over the job of demonstrating the machine in the park. This will grow so big that you can have appointed people demonstrating your machines at parks all over the country and the world. You may want to mention this in your step-2 document that people are encouraged to replicate and hold their own public demonstrations. If your address is publicly listed with your phone number then please do not give your phone number.
11. Build more machines if you can afford it.
12. Spend time to file a Provisional Patent and a Trademark.
13. Ask people for help on foreign patents. Find out which countries allow you to file for a patent after publishing.
14. Spend more time finding people and media to email your document to. If you have a Provisional Patent, then you may want to call Steven Greer. I don't know if he is legitimate, but you never know.
15. Now create your peswiki.com web project. Sterling can help you create this. You'll want to create a directory similar to the way I did at:
http://www.peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:PaulL
16. Find more places to upload and/or people to email your video.
17. Spend time calling and working with the media. Please try to get on as many TV and radio talk shows as possible. One great show would be the Jay Leno show. :-))
18. Make as many copies of the video of your free energy machine and mail them to the media.
19. Work on your free energy machine. Try to make it easier and cheaper to build and generate more energy.
20. I work in the software industry. Even if you have the world?s easiest instructions, there will always be people who find problems or have the craziest questions. You'll want to spend time helping these people by email or phone. This will help work out any possible bugs in your design and/or help improve your document.
IN PREPARATION BEFORE THAT BIG DAY ARRIVES:
* Create a text file that contains a list of emails that you will Bcc. If your list is over 50 people, then break the list into chunks of 50. Some email servers may not like or allow large emailings.
* Create and print a document that contains address of phone numbers of all the media, universities, malls, swap meets, Xerox store, etc. that you may want to go to.
* Go to the Universities and colleges that you may go to and find the locations of the Electronics and Physics teachers. Write down their time schedules, where they will be at certain times.
* When you have vital research then find numerous *good* friends and family members that you can trust. Tell them you have some important research that you are working on and that you would like to send them your current work. Seal the package and ask them not to open it unless you die or disappear. If something should ever happen to you, natural or intentional, then your friends and relatives would spread the documents. You will want to include an instruction sheet in the sealed package that includes places to send the documents to. Your friends and relatives will Xerox your document and mail them.
* Find out where you can legally hand people documents. Can you legally place such a document under the windshield wiper of cars?
* Have on hand a few blank videotapes. You'll want to video the machine and offer copies of the video to the media stations.
* Learn how to create an acceptable document for a Provisional Patent.
* Learn how to create a peswiki.com web project. It is very easy. Sterling can point you into the correct direction.
Kind Regards,
Paul
Hi Paul,
This is in reply to the "Thank God for Replicators" thread as well.
I really enjoyed your ideas here and agree with most of them. There are, however, some differences in oppinion that are minor. First of all, the basis of the smoking gun how I see it is this:
First you finally tweek a machine to get it right. The measurements come in and you get excited. The next step is to build one from scratch. This is the process that you should log, step by step, purchase by purchase(perhaps including reciepts in the original-though not the reproduced- copy). Here is the reason why. Most of my fiddling comes from building something, then modifying the crap out of it. The problem comes when you finally have something, and you not the final configuration of parts, but not the process that got you there, which might have conditioned a piece a certain and neseccary way. Building from scratch gives you fresh parts and puts you in the position of your recreators. This way, as you build and note everything, there is nothing that you could leave out--such as two months back I subjected the magnets to ultra-high frequency, that might or might not have had something to do with the end result. If your second, from scratch, attempt is successful, and you can afford it, do it again. This time directly from the directions that you wrote. If it is not written, don't do it, and if you need to, add to the document. This ensures 3 working models and clear and precise directions that lead to an infinite number of further models.
Now you are sitting on 3 devices. You don't need them. Give one of them away. Preferably to an open minded engineer. If you don't have one of those, find a friend who lives in the country and get them off the grid. Hide the original. The original should be your most used and beat up model, probably having gone through more than one incarnation. Your second one will look nicer, as the plans for it were already laid(there are no add-ons that look out of place or cobbed on) Your third one should be your display model. So to recap: Hide the prototype, give away your second model and take your third one on the road. The whereabouts of the prototype should be disseminated to a few friends, in sealed envelopes, also perhaps as a sealed addendum to your Last Will and Testament.
The video references and the flyers you spoke about should now come into play. You should also give the recipient of model number 2 a large number of the flyers with instructions to distribute. So there should be dissemination on two fronts.
If in the midst of demonstrating as you suggest, a manufacturer gets interested, then you can file a provisional patent and a TM on the name and get moving with production. The problem with diseminating building instructions is that it takes money, access to materials and applications, time and the technical know-how to understand what they are reading. The vast majority of people lack at least one of these, and as a result most of the instructions will end up in the trash. The trick is to get the product, already built, into their lives. Set up a free trial period with a few socially networked people, preferably middle class, as they are the ones who are hurt the most by energy bills, and impressed the most by the reduction of the same. If you can, between demonstrating and dodging those pesky government pukes, keep building them. Don't worry about improving and looking for something better. Your mission has shifted from find it to share it.
Up until this point you are shelling out the time and the effort. You have really not been compensated much. Here is what you do. Rent a PO box, and in all of your correspondence and flyers and videos, you should include that address. Start accepting orders(hopefully one of the people you let try this thing is someone in the manufacturing business--if not get testimonials from those already using your device for the presentation to the manufacturers) and promise that, although their device has been back ordered, they have reserved a place in line. This will give you start up funds and a slew of orders will show the manufacturers that demand does in fact exist(this matters more to the manufacturer than whether or not the device actually works--think pet rock craze) once this gets out you will have competition, but word of mouth will have put the name of your device on the tongues of people everywhere. Your TM will protect the name, and the provisional patent will protect the device.
At this point get a lab together and work to improve the invention, filling patents on these improvements as often as you can, at the same time declairing that others are free to copy. The patents in this case only block future patents because you have demonstrated this as prior art. In the end there will be pantents on aspects that big corps hold, but the basic device itself, allong with the technology, will have made it into the world.
I think that the bulk of your CYA is elegant and will incorporate it into any plans that I make in the future.
Thanks Paul
Kysmett
Thanks Kysmett.
It's a numbers game, isn't it. As you say most people can't make it but thanks to laws of averages and statistics, if you hand out enough there will always be a certain amount that know how to make things. Also, every person you hand the build document to will most likely know a person who is capable of making such a machine. What is going to drive the nail in the coffin is the daily live public demonstrations. Heck, if I had no build capabilities or knowledge and if I got such a flier and it said live public demonstrations at this park, I would spend a Saturday afternoon checking it out. If I saw an open view machine that was generating significant power and the inventor seemed honest, cooperative, and not trying to make $ then I would bring one of my friends who could build such a machine to see the live demonstration. This would causes such a local stir that it would reach many forms of media. Word would spread.
Initially time is of the essence and the first goal should be to create a good self-image, no? For one, I would not include in the document / flier any mention what so ever of $. That's a big turn off to people and the scam artist red flag would go off. This is such a sensitive topic and borderlining on quack / scam artist. The inventor must play it safe and nor constantly think of Me, Me, Me. I think that perhaps after the second ... possibly the first week the inventor can focus on $ if they so need. For myself I'm going all the way and not going to be concerned about me me me until assuredly the world will always have such design documents. In other words, once the ball is rolling and you have people willing to assist you in spreading the word and demonstrating their machines and helping you and it seems the idea and designs are spreading, then the inventor can focus more on $. I am told that Japanese have or had a successful business strategy. They would target an industry by charging the lowest amount possible for the appliance. They would actually lose a lot of money do so. By doing so, they would eventually drive out a lot of competition while increasing their popularity. Once they owned the market, they could then focus on making money.
Sincerely,
Paul
True enough. I agree. The salesmanship aspect of your demonstrations should come about a month after you start advertising. Any more than that and it will be like that press conference. People will get tired of the claims and will want to know when the can have one of their own. Any sooner and you are right the scam flag will definitely go off. But after a few weeks, you also have to realize that you have been distributing your plans. You are not selling the technology, only the convenience of having one put together for them. Perhaps you should only include a PO Box address on the flyers, with the standard "for more information or questions write to.." phrase. Then you will undoubtedly get mail that asks you (unsolicitedly) where they can get one made already. Alternatively, you could add that portion to your fliers at about the third week, so that the con-man feeling has been overcome, but the masses still know how to satisfy their demand. The plans are still out there. I can find the plans to build a microwave oven, but I'd rather buy one already assembled if you get my meaning.
As for knowing someone that can replicate it and taking them along, that depends on the field of expertise needed and the complexity involved. How many people know a materials engineer, for example, or have access to a composite kiln?
In the meantime, get as many 'free samples' out as soon as possible. Once that happens, the cat is out of the bag. --- be sure to advise people to shut off the main breaker to their house if they decide to go off-grid. The power companies can use negligence as a means for prosecution, and ask that the legilative cronies ban the use of the device until declared safe for public use, and I'm sure that they will find a reason that it is not...if only to save their contributors from the threat.

Yes, good point. It depends on the free energy machine. If it's say like a MEG, then really just about anyone could build it. But if it's a complex cold fusion reactor, then well ... :-(

Wow, an even better point! That's why it is so vital to be prepared.
Regarding $, what's your opinion on Steven Greer. There's a fellow around here, possibly controversial guy, that claims Mr. Greer is one of the bad guys. Do you think he's a viable means of marking the device in say the U.S.? Mr. Greer used to have the $1,000,000 dollar Z prize. Sounds like they are claiming major $ for the inventor after the inventor patents the device. So say after one month of getting the cat out of the bag, the inventor could then concentrate on the patent, since they have one year to do so, and then send Steven Greer an email.
Sincerely,
Paul
in section 7 of the "what to do..." you mentioned swap meets. a 'hamfest' meet for ham radio may be a good place. many of these people have all of the equipment and skills to build a machine/device. and they are connected world-wide with interactive audio/video/code 'contacts' with all other hams (skilled builders) in all countries.
To the successful researcher.....don't be tempted to shoot for the moon.? Be content to make use of the 'smaller influence' if needs be.? If 'it' works....it works.?
No need to get too ambitious with scale and power issues.....and waste valuable time.? In this 'game', the old addage: "The firstest with the mostest" need not apply.
Simple and readily duplicated POC (proof of concept) models sitting in the right corners, would be enough to unravel the 'anchor stitch' on that 'moth riddled', Iron curtain.

Guys don't forget peer 2 peer they can help too, and there are 3 or 4 sites that save records
of closed sites.Contact them just in case you do get closed. (foriegn sites first)
My additional comments here are that demonstrations should be made highly believable. A short term demonstration scheduled at a definite time has the weakness of allowing falsification with hidden batteries. I think someone did this with a lithium battery hidden inside a torroidial transformer core. I am thinking of making a batch of demonstrators containing a clock, LED light bank, and small water pump for a small two - water - reserve - and - a - waterfall exhibit in a small sealed transparent box left for continuous long term observation when my first ambient heat recycling chips are made. The water circulation will be assurance that the device does not run off a gross temperature difference. The system must be sterile so the pump won't foul and the water will stay transparent. Having several simultaneous exhibits will be safer and better.
For financing, I am considering asking that money be contributed to application developers without passing through my hands first.? They will raise the money they need, spend it primarily on starting a business based on the diode array and pay me a small royalty based on the well definable % of gross. I have profited by my contribution to world science and not used the inventing talent as an excuse to get in the way of business people that have their talents. I intend to add the condition that they not be secretive, which may be tricky to define. Secrets should regress in a world of many producers. I have ideas on cheap, fast, simple nanofabrication equipment which will be part of the diode array becoming cheaper better and more adaptable.
As to steering the uses of the diode array we should talk about the social consequences in many conversations. I started the post Beyond ambient heat transforming device prototypes with the presumption that ambient heat recycling machines are the most revolutionary because they are extraamly scalable and adaptible and highly invarient on the environment leading to their being highly autonomous and ubiquitous.

That's a good point. The inventor could say, "with the best technology to date, and assuming there were batteries stuffed inside all these parts, that there would be enough energy to generate 5000 watts for 1 minutes." I did a little research and found the following data:
Density of Lithium is 0.53g/cm3
energy density of various batteries
-----------------------------
Lithium ? 0.150 kWh/kg
button ? 0.125 kWh/kg
dry cell ? 0.09 kWh/kg
lead-acid ? 0.03 to 0.04 kWh/kg
It seems that Lithium has the highest energy density at 0.150 KWH/Kg. Let's say the total density of all the parts together in the invention amounted to 10cm x 10cm x 10cm, then that's 1000 cm3. So that's 530g or 0.53 Kg. That amounts to 0.0795 KWh, which is enough energy to generate 79.5 watts for one hour, or 5000 watts for 0.954 minutes. So if such a free energy machine could generate 5000 watts for over 1 minute then that proves there are no batteries.
Additionally, it is possible to use fuel such as hydrogen as a source of power, which holds a lot more energy. The inventor could seal the entire machine in an airtight clear plastic bag to demonstrate that no gas is forming since all fuel technology gives off gas.
Sincerely,
Paul
After what I've witnessed in my short experiences with electrolysis and hydrogen........you don't even want to be around if they seal anything up tight and there's hydrogen forming in there. HA! Oh yeah.........they'll be energy alright. LOTS! Not for very long but then if anyone was very close, they won't care. ROFLMAO
Sorry.........just had to go there. I'm over it now.
Two quick thoughts:
solar cell, infrared upconverter and infrared-fluorescing ambient material powered by heat are put together; it doesn't matter what kind of energy output it has, at first;
there should be a list of guys who you don't even have to show a working model, who will don't need to be shown anything, they can read.
As far as I can tell, we all have to be committed to a kind of joyful hysterical outrage to get anything done.
U don't know if triboluminescense caused by Brownian impacts of a liquid preferably of a similar refractive index on the enormous surface area of a colloidial solid suspension would perpetually glow.
Paul, thanks for the research on hidden battery capacity. Hopefully the last bugaboo is the hidden microwave link.

LOL, that's a good one. Only a good interview with say 60 Minutes star Barbara Walters with a nice drive in their van to say Death Valley will do that justice. :) They might want to bring their signal analysis team to verify that there's no strong microwaves and such out there. You never know, there could be a satellite beaming me a signal, lol.
Paul
Another option, the inventor could offer the park audience to chose a direction. The inventor would walk the machine in that direction or wherever the audience wishes. Then the only possible source of power would be hidden in the inventor's coat. Then the inventor and everyone else walks away from the machine to prove there's no hidden source.
One nice effect with energy from room temperature ambient heat is that the machine will get cold. People can touch this to verify this effect. A cool test to verify this would be to place the machine in a clear glass box with a thermometer and perhaps a shallow tray of water. When the audience sees the thermometer dropping they will see. Better yet when they see the water turning to ice.
Sincerely,
Paul
I've been afraid of the Non Disclosure Agreement with its heavy handed suppression of synergy. However, I think a lot of work can be done with a reasonable amount of discretion to prepare demonstration devices. Therefore, manufacturers can be brought into the preparations with a near normal amount of industrial coordination. The deviation from being entirely normal is that the diode array is so good that it will make a lot of unforeseeable improvements everywhere. Anyway, Lets be open to the possibility that manufacturers can invest in the diode array to have a part of it in their future. This means that high quality ice cube making demonstration equipment can be built by the manufacturers investing in the show. This further means that we can have perpetual flashlights, clocks, and other affordable, easily prepared small things sold at the demonstration parks to reasonably open minded people looking for new things in the world. Furthermore, there will be visionaries that accept it by their sensitive means.
Next sales people need good prototypes for their mission. If they have long range vehicles and equipment to settle anywhere in the world and know that other sales people also have similar means as a general social policy, they will go forth and sell with mutual self discipline.
Aloha, Charlie
Paul:
I doubt the machine has to get cold to "run" on ambient heat, though that would be mighty fine. It's not going to be all that robust an energy source unless it can, eh? I've long wondered why one cannot/doesn't "cascade" peltier circuits around a shel like an onion?
Charlie:
I was thinking of infrared sources in general, but that sounds nifty all irght. If that refers to my post, thanks, I'm honored.
Maybe Google Answers can help me out on rich guys who're decent human beings.

Dear atomiverse,
You don't understand.? In such machines the cold comes from the fact that such a machine is moving energy from the magnetic material to the appliance.? It's not a matter of if the machine has to be cold.? It's simply a side affect, and a good one at that.
You can read more about my research at:
http://www.peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:PaulL
In a very brief nutshell, the research is based on the magnetocaloric effect.? It has
nothing to do with nano technology.? I am fairly confident that by next year I'll have a machine generating kilowatts of power.? This is based on computer simulations using classical physics equations.? If I can pull it off with cheap magnetic materials then it should cost less than $100.? The machine should be very compact, size of printer, very easy to build.? At present it seems the user is going to have to customize a transformer.? For example, take two complete E cores and cut the middle sections out.? Then bond the two cores together.? This will give you a much wider E core.? There will be two coils on each end.? With specific timed pulsed free energy is obtained.? There is a lot about magnetic materials that most scientists have no clue about.? The Magnetocaloric effect is just the start of such research.
Sincerely,
Paul
Are there any U.S. laws pertaining to publishing? What if someone posted a free energy machine that was not yet tested, but later on turned out to work? In such a case the details of the circuit would not be ready, but the inventor would provide the required signals. Of course there would be detailed drawings of the machine. In other words, what if no circuit was provided-- just a drawing of the required current and/or voltage signals?
Also, does it matter where the design is posted? Can it be here or at Yahoo groups or does it need to be a professional publishing company?
Once published, the inventor has one year to file a patent.
Sincerely,
Paul
Paul,
I think that if a craftsman in the art could construct it from your publication and plausibly have it work than the one year time would start. Publishing on this site is a complicated question. Access involves no payment. Access is slightly restricted probably to enable the ejection of people with poor netiquette, a common practice on the web. We are a discussion group now though there is no restriction on some of us being in business together. Lawyers probably advise clients to steer clear of uncertanties so the clients comply and stop talking. Therefore these issues are poorly discussed and are de facto resolved in favor of secrecy. Inventors probably want unrestricted access to ideas and discussions concerning inventing. I think that society should act to maximise human development and act against secrecy.
My bias in the case of a clean, cheap, and safe energy machine based on absorbing ambient heat and concurrently releasing an equivalent amount of electrical power is that such machines require the selective aggregation of small energies that deviate from the norm in the desired direction; that a bulk process will not work. For example if a hot spring (tapered helix) is weaker than a cold spring than a machine can be made where the spring is compressed when hot and released whem cold driving the recompression of the spring putting the spring in a cyclic process and providing net output power but this is a 2LT limited engine. An example of the small energies approach is where a lot of thermally driven moving molecules can be directed to build up a powerful flow. The infra red of a thermovoltaic cell is involves photons created on many spots.
Telsa conceptualized a device comprizing very many coils each wraped around a polarized magnet. A coil would saturate more easily for one direction of current. This is equivalent to a rectifier.
I visited the link with the metal/insulator/superconductor refrigerator. It looks like it requires electrical power so it would then absorb heat on one side and eject this heat plus the thermal equivalent of the electric power on the other side.
Aloha, Charlie
Dear Charlie,
So you are suggesting that people not publishing an invention on free forums such as this place? Where would you publish? I may have read somewhere that IP.com charges about $100 to publish.
Thanks for the answer. I've asked this question on the Internet for months now and people always dodge the question and run off track. So far your answer is the closest straightforward answer.

I think that it is most important for creative people to brainstorm with each other with everyone supported by today's access to abundant knowledge. Inventors need to post and publish to thrive. This is more important to me than patenting things. Individuals originate ideas; groups prepare concepts for development within an enterprise. Bringing a new product out requires both individual creative mulling things over and a group process to make sure that a concept meets a wide range of requirements including proper attribution for the inventions going in. It is difficult to attribute contributions to individuals operating in a well working group. Therefore, the group members should be treated equally and paid generously but this not be the entire payment to an inventor. We have already brought up the idea of finding a place to work together. Let me pass the planning ball at this point.
Aloha, Charlie
Dear Charlie and others,
I am doing some research on Publishing. It seems evident that the U.S. patent office is now very picky at what it considers to be legitimate publishing.
I am trying to find out more details, but there is a good possibility that even the large and more trusted companies such as Yahoo (Yahoo groups) are not legitimate considerations for prior art. I sent an email to ip.com for more details and a price list. IP.com goes through considerable trouble to publish the data of other inventors. Here are some links:

Kind regards,
Paul
Dear researchers,
I just received an email from IP.com:
+++++++++++
I would love to discuss the reasons why it is not advisable to publish something on a yahoo user group with the expectation of it being consider prior art.
~
IP.com charges per document (up to around 20 pages). The price, without discount, is $200 per publication voucher.
Please do not hesitate calling or e-mailing any additional questions.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Tim

Though I like this thread plenty as a nutshell analysis.
I think the thing to do would be to build a machine that works and is a viable commmodity. (Not-"We pumped 500watts into this device and we got a whole five watts of genuine cold fusion out of it!!!! Yay!")
Then have it announced publically with other researchers and also announce the design as publc domain, making plans readily available.
Invest heavily into the enterprises that will be making the parts. (magnets etc)
This may seem a round-about way of financial gain, but my philosophy on this is that: if you cast your bread upon the waters, it will return to you multiplied.
A viable free-energy device, placed in public domain would be the most powerful thing to ever change the world. The LAST thing one should do is suppress it by concealment or restriction.
Why?
There are plenty of, shall we say, "concerned parties" out there that possibly would just LOVE to make sure your secret died with you......if you know what I mean.
There are others that, through enough legal wrangling, could put the sleephold on your invention as well....and very quickly at that, before it 'got out' enough to make a terrible mess.
All either one of these 'parties' need is for YOU, the discovering scientist, through worry, greed, or fear of having no profits from your efforts, to have made the mistake of 'containing' the technology and not releasing it to the public at large.
Rest assured, that this is all the help they need, and they will grab it, contain it, and snuff it out quicker'n a New York Minute.
Before a person thinks about hiding their own discoveries............consider this:
Can we really believe, for one moment, that the dicoveror of a viable free energy device will not be taken care of financially even if they give away the 'secret'?
Think of the books, the paid lectures, the tours, the interviews........yes, there is a gravy train of monetary security in merely the popularity.
Screw the 'patent' system. Screw the lies about it protecting anyone in todays international market.
The question is: Do you want to help humanity as a whole and be known for that or do you want to be known as another 'statistic' on the list of suppressed inventors. Martyr or saviour? Take your pick.
The best way to avert these things would be to use the time-proven method of persistance and propagation. Like a virus, spread through the world on all the Microsoft machines.........like the chain-letter that will not die.................like the Dennis Lee's of the world that run for YEARS and YEARS on mere 'promises',
like the mult-imarket phenomenon, -------->give..............give...........GIVE, and encourage the recipitants to give it too!
This is the secret you will need to make your dreams come true.

Let's consider how we can we have world prestige initially motivate and ultimately reward the whole enterprise of people involved in developing our world class inventions.
Aloha, Charlie
Never forget, something given freely has no value. It is a harsh, capitalistic world in which we live. You do need to get people behind you, but not too many. If you structure things in such a way that there is financial reward for all those who assist you (even on a speculative basis), you are far more likely to succeed.
Again, and I can not stress this point enough, you do need to get people behind you. You must achieve an aura of credibility. You must build a good team. You must structure your delivery in such a way that it can make money. You must avoid becoming a salesperson - beating the street to attract public interest. The general public will actually be of very little use to you. They have little or no real power. To succeed, you must attract power. From power, money and acceptance will flow.
The power behind the decisions which shape our lives is not to be found on the street. Only in the back rooms of governments and large corporations can the kind of power you need be accessed. To gain this access, unless you possess it already, you must associate with the relevant kinds of people. These people, if you are successful in your relationship-building, will become part of your team. Your team will now bring with it a network. A well-built network will allow you access to power.
You will need engineers, lawyers, accountants, politicians (or people with significant political contacts).
I do not wish to seem melodramatic, however I do know these things to be true. This is especially the case when dealing with 'fringe' technologies. My experience in this area is brief, but successful.
Your steps will be as follows;
Assure yourself of the beneficial nature of your invention, making realistic estimates of how much money is to be made out of it in the market (be highly critical here, because most of the people you talk to are going to be)
Search patent databases to make sure you aren't infringing on the Intellectual Property of another inventor
If you have come this far, you must immediately file a Provisional Patent. Contact a lawyer to find out how to do this. This lawyer may end up as part of your team.
Before discussing your technology with others, make them sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement or Confidentiality Deed which requires them to recognise your ownership of the invention and not discuss it with others that are not covered by such an agreement.
Use targeted disclosures to interest and then secure a team of people that are capable and well-connected. Anybody you know that has some connections to any large organisation is generally the best place to start. Power attracts power and has money as a friend.
You must now establish a Pty Ltd Company. Legislation regarding this differs from place to place, so you must speak to an accountant to discover the best way for where you are.
Your new company must be the owner of your Provisional Patent and must consist of a large number of shares, which you can sell to raise seed capital. You must be able to explain why your technology is better than current alternatives and how you intend to turn it into a profitable business.
With luck, the accountant you spoke to will be able to connect you to potential sources of seed capital (often his own wealthy clients) to build a prototype if you don't have one already, or to develop your new business if you do have one. Make your activities as cheap as possible in the early stages, you are likely to need every cent that you have and probably more.
The rest is now up to you. It will be hard work. Others will doubt you, and you will probably doubt yourself.
If you have managed to attract clever, influential people to your technology, they are likely to suggest ways in which your technology can be taken further. Always listen to them. You don't have to do what they say, but you must always listen to them.
I wish any who attempt this path in life the very best of luck. Despite the inherent difficulties, it is a noble pursuit. If you are motivated by a desire to improve the world in which we live, you deserve success.
Whilst the commercial flavours may not to be the liking of all who read this, they are essential and con not be dispensed with. It takes power to change the world, money is simply one of power's many metaphors.

lrrg@wantree.com.au
Dear rmgordon,
First you need to get the build designs out to the public. If not then you can pretty much count the seconds to your death.
By jove......Mr. Gordon's assertion, although truly obvious, succeeds in making a point.?
He stated that:? "Something given freely has no value."
By inference then,? we may include your freely given opinion Mr. Gordon?
(JK)
Certainly, you are speaking less about your personal beliefs and remarking about 'general public perception'.....in effect saying that the public has become jaded over the decades at the hands of unscrupulous profiteers....and that they don't see any value to anything offered them as 'free' because, in their experience, it is too good to be true.
Many people have learned that the best things in life are those which are 'freely given'.
One of several cases in point, regarding the many 'backroads' taken by truly beneficial technolgies, once hitched to the money train:
http://www.alternativescience.com/over-unity.htm
turned into this....
http://www.hydrodynamics.com
Looks like Griggs knew how to take a hint!
See how that works?? ?
This is how YOU can 'help' the world......You can join the trash heap of Teslas, Schaubergers, Malloves and other such ilk......or wake up and smell 'new money'.....while the bureaucrats help their masters utterly gut rip the planet!? Oh goody!
Everybody wins!? Well,? everybody who is anybody that is....
"Our responsibility is to our shareholders!" seems to be the battlecry of the ages.......too bad, really, that many of those selfsame 'shareholders' do not realize that they also share not a negligible level of culpability as well, in what is being done to others, and so too, themselves..... in their name.
Shhhh....hear that?? ?Those are the hot, dry winds of change a blowin.? Get your wind generators up and ready boys.......Or so I'm told.
8)
A quick look at the Griggs looks hopeful. I see Rex Research has an infolio on them
http://www.rexresearch.com/griggs/griggs.htm
I see the patents of this machine and it looks huge and somewhat complex to build in a hobbyist home. How much do these machines cost? And when will Griggs create the smoking gun by having the machine run by itself?
The second link in my earlier post is the company formed from Griggs' invention.
The fact that local city departments had them installed is interesting.....as is the Corporation that manufactures them today for major industry players.
Google "Griggs Hydrosonic" .....it's been around for years.
Peace,
TS out
If we have devices that absorb heat to yield electricity or mechanical output then we can make test chambers for the easy evaluation of overunity devices, entropy circumventing devices, or low yield nuclear fusion devices.
I think that a plausibly wonderful very adaptable and superior energy device should be released to society openly on many fronts with low commercial and social administrative overhead (How much, exactly, this is needs to be resolved) . I think that hundreds of labs have the ability to develop the diode array or nanonozzle array from the present first approximations of the device specifications.
Cavitation ultrasound looks to me like a very useful technique.
I believe that everyone is presenting their point of view honorably in this forum.
Aloha, Charlie
It is difficult to deploy the diode array as a proprietary technology that the insiders can use to be one up on everyone else and demand high prices. The diode array should be nanofabricated in foundries in spite of this commercial property. I have emailed engineering@mems-exchange.org a request for services.
Aloha, Charlie
engineering@mems-exchange.org replied:
Charles,
Sounds like an interesting idea. We do not
presently have a developed technology for spin casting
buckyballs in plastic, but I see no reason
why it could not be developed. In any case,
this would be a development project and would
require a budget of $50K or more (primarly to
support an engineer to work in the lab to develop
a process for this) and a few months of time.
If this sounds of interest, let me know and
we can work out a proposal and more firm costing.
Thanks,
-Michael
there is -for my opinion- no more a chance to patent a financial usefull "freie energie"-apparature.
All the new inventors have to recognize/remark the "old" temptations of many other
developper to introduce "paradox-science"-apparature to the market.
the financial "status quo" is more/less 1eurocent for each kilowatt current.
