I have read that the lines of force in (abruptly turned off) water can brake a glass if placed in the lines of force path.
Once again,  can we "load a coil" , collapse the load but shut the drain before it collapses totally and be set to capture what ever it may generate?  I will forgo diagramming this, ms paint is not easy to draw with for me.
