Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Oh, I forgot, triffid!  You moved to the St. Louis area recently?  Very unfortunate with all the damage.  A miracle that no one was killed!!  I have distant relatives on my late Dad's side of the family living in and around St. Louis.  They're lived in that area for about 250 yrs, from the real pioneer days.  I mean the "Wild West" of the MidWest.

Oh, also, I'm concerned about the Middle East.  Continuing unrest can badly destabilize the region.  Worldwide, and in this S.F. slum Tenderloin district I live in, people are becoming royally pissed off at the "business as usual" status quo that's been going on for decades.

People eventually could get so angry they take it out on others, even if it hurts themselves in the meantime.  They may not give a d@mn any more.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.

I really don't like st.Louis But I have had family here since 1957.I figure that staying here for two years could fit into my plans.I really want to go to alabama in two years time.I think the middle east will continue to have unrest and the price of oil will go up to over $200 a barrel. It seems to be what the so called elite want.I have no doubt that there is a small group of people who control the prices of everything for the rest of us.This small group needs to realize that everyone is important and that life in underground bunkers could become stale and boring.Life is to be lived and not put on hold.I would rather take my chances above ground than below it in underground bunkers.triffid

Right, very good.  If oil goes to $200/barrel, there would probably be a depression, and the economy would collapse.  The powerful "elite" may be a great deal of the problem, but people's greed and fear can be just as big a problem.  I've never seen any great betterment in the general attitude of anyone's society in recorded history.  People do the same things as their ancestors did, and this goes back to the beginning.

Some pocket stove designs you can make from tin cans.I'm looking for small woodburning stoves myself. These might use alcohol as a fuel.I know some do.  http://www.instructables.com/id/Pocket-Sized-Camp-Stove-The-Improved-quotPenny-/  triffid
