Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Do you think the American economy will ever improve?

Yes, definitely
Possibly, in the long run
No, it will worsen
Undecided

In the 1970′s all other commodities were racing ahead of the price of a barrel of oil or “leading” oil. That is what is happening today. A gallon of gasoline IS GOING to be $6.70 very soon.
If silver and gold continue to reflect the declining value of the dollar by requiring more and more dollars to buy them, then it is foreseeable that $60 silver and $2000 gold will mean $8.68 per gallon of gasoline by July. The $60 number is coming from traders of the largest jewelry buyer in the world, India.triffid

doesn't matter to me, I live in a small town and it takes me 10 minutes to walk to work which I enjoy anyhow. I only need the vehicle once a month to go get groceries 50 miles away.

I feel better off with him dead.First of all it proves he is mortal. The ideas he stood for may still live on.But it does provide closure for a lot of people who were harmed by him.About 8 months after 9/11 I was in NYC looking at the gaping hole where the world trade center had been.I saw millions of glass particles in the streets around the hole.A testament to the fact that there were a lot of windows in the buildings. In 12/2000 I was in NYC on the first floor of the twin towers.I was there nine months before 9/11.And once again 8 months later.I felt nervous because I knew terrorists wanted to bring it down since 1993.Finally I felt better because I felt nothing bad would happen the day I was there.Still I felt better when I left the place.triffid

Here in the st.Louis area gas is just under the $4.00 mark.I saw it today at $3.86 per gallon.Across the river in Ill it is about a dollar more because of state taxes being added.I have seen local news stories of droves of drivers coming across the river to buy cheaper gas. When the price jumps up too high people will change their driving habits.triffid

You got a deal!!  I'm in Calif., and $4.00/gal is a thing of the past.  It's expected to hear the all-time record shortly, nationally.

They do it in Mexico from stateside cities, as well.  The price will climb in Mexico, too, as a result.

Right; I think discretionary driving on the weekend is already being affected.  It'll get worse toward the summer.

More likely to the thread subject?
Have people heard of Rachel Maddow?  She's a media/political/social anchorwoman/commentator in cable TV(Channel 56 in my area).

She maintained Osama bin Ladin was trying all along to bankrupt the whole country as quickly as possible by making everyone afraid of his terrorism and then having us spend money on security.  Lots of money.

Seal Team Six ended his plans for the financial ruination of everyone.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.
