I already said...did I not?...somewhere else on this thread?...that historical fact predicts all I said, as well as what the demonstrated! crackpot Reverend? Pastor? Minister? Harold Camping alluded to:  Everything ends anyway.  He just interpreted the Bible to an exact day and the Bible says nothing about a specific Day of Judgement.  Essentially, rather paraphrased: No man knows when or where The End will take place.  It simple will.

Did any number of ancient empires come and go after some period of time?  The Third Reich?  The Russian Empire of the Cold War?  It always happens.

It's just the Mayans said Dec. 21, 2012.  And they somewhat indicated only that a new cycle would begin.
In a special documentary on the Discovery Channel or National Geographic, the last five Mayan sub-cycles ended with them either walking into the forest to start all over again from the hunter/gatherer stage of culture, or something like the Spanish Conquistadors ending the Mayan's culture for them.


If there was going to be a future cycle after 2012, then the prediction from past yearly, decade, century cycles will have been that:
A) Half the people will eat well and the other half will "have difficulty."
B) The people will come together for one, common cause and work with full cooperation.

I could say the European enonomies are teetering on the edge of a chasm, and that Spain's financial books are about to reveal their banking problems equal that of Greece's, but then the Europeans may be in for a financial collapse of their own.

Bottom line: It's happened before and it'll happen again.  There is no specific day.  I should have said so elsewhere.  If not, I say it here.

That was the good news.  I'm going to take some time later and tell you some things and then let the OU Members judge for themselves whether or not I've made any point as to what I think of you means anything to them or rings true to them or not.  I'm short on time now.

Oh, and you live forever?  Are Adam and Eve around?  Honestly, you write like some kind of human computer with a large database of knowledge that you're fond of letting everyone in on a little bit, as long as it's your personal point of view.  Your logic is always sound and your intelligence is demonstratably higher than mine?  And you berate me for having a peculiar opinion different than yours?  Even quite a bit different than yours?

I'm doing personal research and I occasionally give offand opinions to other Members based on that experience.  Most people aren't as strident against me in their opposing opinion as you are.
I have very high functioning Asperger's syndrome and my research reflects that permanent, genetic feature of my personality.  It's been in my Dad's family for hundreds of years in America and England.
Several times in my life I've been the brunt of bad jokes and snide remarks from arrogant people like you.  It's happened so often, I expect it from the likes of you.
Arrogant people have done that to me most of my life, so, rather than continuing this complaint, I'll let the Members whom you've had to deal with formulate their opinion of you themselves.  From what little I've read of your posts, some of them have a poor opinion of you "not inventing anything original", for instance.  You enjoy proving someone wrong, by your standards and "rubbing their faces in it"---your personally opinionated truth?

I'll let someone think, and even critize, what they want to about my opinions.  But I'm not going to criticize what they say with snide remarks.  I don't have to treat people like that and have the enemnity some Members have had toward you.  Oh!  You don't give a damn, do you?

I've worked for employers who had the same attitude you do and they all went out of business.  I think I'll let you do what you want---and this time I'll follow pix's advice and finally ignore you.  COMPLETELY.

At my house a large tree fell down.It belonged to the city so no cost to me.They came the next day and cut it up and hauled it away.No more big tree in the driveway.No more BIG TREE in the driveway.The wind blew the tree over or half of it anyway.The city cut the half Left standing down too.My point is that There are solutions once people start wanting them.While I do believe there are more bad times coming I also will try to post solutions here as I am able to find them.I did not grow up homeless but I did grow up cold and hungry in oklahoma.We used wood heat a lot in the winter.I once went 4 days without eating.A lot of people in the USA have not done that so they may think they have to use a gun to get food.I saw a LADY YESTERDAY GO GET FOOD FROM A FOODBANK.YES THEY WERE GIVING AWAY FREE fOOD!!!She did not have to point a gun at anyones head to get it.So any talk I hear about" better buy a gun" .I just roll my eyes and say"oh really?".triffid

While I did hear about the crazy preacher who gave a time for the end of the world taking the money of people who gave it to him.Some gave him everything because they would no longer need it!!!!I heard.I did not check it out cuz I really don't care.But when an 89 yo preacher who is predicting the end of the world takes donations you better smell something fishy.If he needs money you might too.triffid
