Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Do you think the American economy will ever improve?

Yes, definitely
Possibly, in the long run
No, it will worsen
Undecided

hey Lee, thanks so much for this last link,
my point of view (I am spanish, Spain living): this article shows very well what are doing the politicians in my country: exactly the opposite they said were to do at the elections campaign.
What the article does not say is the raising level of rage and rejection on all political class that can be felt in the streets, in this situation, it won´t be surprising if riots appear as in Greece.
24% unemployed means 5 million people without income (none) and these are only the ones who apply for a job at employment office.
A large number of unemployed not even apply, and therefore are not in statistics.
not very optimistic, I apologize

Big M,I didnt mean no one was hungry here in st.louis, just that I have not seen skin and bones. And I really dont want to see that either.Your article you posted a link a link to said this about greece today:
Greece, like other countries in Europe, had given up its own currency in exchange for the euro, so it did not have the option of printing more money or devaluing the currency to pull itself out of the mess created in part by politicians who

without troubling to bring up the unpleasant fact that someone, sooner or later, would have to pay.
Today, the Greek people are enduring economic pain that makes America look like a paradise of prosperity. Unemployment stands at 21%, wages are collapsing for both government and private sector workers.
A series of new taxes have been imposed, including a "solidarity" tax, new property taxes and higher self-employment taxes. The VAT, a national sales tax on all transactions, has jumped from 13% to 23%. The minimum wage has been been sharply cut. Poverty has increased dramatically.
After all that, Greece is still required by European rules to cut another 4.7% of gross domestic product from its budget, equivalent to the United States suddenly cutting more than $700 billion.
Even if it achieves those goals, or rather because it will enact such draconian cuts, the Greek economy is expected to sink deeper.
The European economic pact requires countries to keep their budget deficits below 3% of GDP. That became increasingly difficult as the world entered a recession. In Greece's case, the government had been concealing its deficit spending. In other countries,

Unlike most European countries, the United States has the luxury of printing money and borrowing almost at will. The crisis in Europe has actually made it more attractive to lend to the United States, so it's easy to pretend the deficit and the debt don't matter. But America's deficit of about 10% of GDP and debt of $15 trillion, roughly 100% of GDP, cannot go on forever. Interest payments on the debt already consume more than $200 billion each year, and the debt is rising at blinding speed.
The United States was right to deal with the recession first before tackling the longer term problem. Europe is proving what the Hoover administration already showed in the 1930s, that cutting spending in a recession is counter-productive.
But, with the economy recovering, the time will soon come for the difficult decisions: Will the government cut defense spending, Social Security, or Medicare? Or perhaps other programs that keep millions out of poverty?

What I have heard and seen is that a lot of the vacant houses in st.louis has had the copper pipes stripped out of them. With europes pain coming to american shores in a few years if not sooner.I dread the decisions they will make with social security. And the IRS by itself can make your life a living hell.I heard a joke to that effect lately. It was actually funny.I keep hearing that 2030 will be the time of great hardship and the end of time for humanity.I refuse to believe that 90% of the population will be wiped out and the elite 10% will be safe underground. If they have alien technology that could open up the cosmos to us.To bring a new era to us.If they have this technology already they should share it now,not wait until the last minute. All in the name of economic gain. The world of star trek had no money. But they had machines that could create food and materials so no one was in need.We need to have space colonies built to grow food in.There are unlimited resources in space that no one wants to talk about. There is trillions of tons of water on the moon and there is a man by the name of william stone who wants to start mining it by 2020.He gave a 20 minute talk and announced his intentions for the moon at the very end of his talk.triffid

here is the talk I heard. http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/bill_stone_explores_the_earth_and_space.html
