Please go right to 9:30 and watch Don Smith introduce his toroidal power unit (precursor to Bearden's MEG, I think). Pay very close attention to what he says at 14:50 -- "... it's a cyclotron type deal...." - he talks about taking power off thru the taps on it.

Smith's device seems to have two sets of perpendicular windings - one on each side of the toroid. My guess is that the windings are cw and ccw. Then, he has a winding over the whole thing. It looks like simple multi-strand copper lamp wire.

I'll go back to earlier posts to paste in Tito's specs and a remark by Sir Mags.

Okay, now this reminds me of Smith's little toroid thingy. It's got the perpy bifilar lamp wire windings, the antennas and the windings across the diameter. Anyway, check it out and see what you think.

My old one has shorted single stranded iron wire core with 4 perp copper windings.

Just a note about the core. A bifilar series connected core will cancel out the core's transverse EM wave.  This cancels any reflective losses in the primary's power factor due to flux induced by the secondary.  This means that the power remains unaffected in the primary, while inducing energy into the secondary wooooo hoooo!!! 

Now, I'm not sure this is really what Tito is implying in his specs, but I thought I'd mention it.  I think it's the way I'm gonna go - not sure if it's necessary or not.

Hey Bob and All

Just put a simple thing together to see what we will see. Just 2in pvc 6in long with a hole drilled through the tube at 3in  Aprox. Just banged it out. Simple.

Using 10ga high strand no. wire for the horizontal part of the H and wound some 20ga speaker wire(as Teets has said to have used before), half of the tube with one color and the other half with another color. This way I can rewind 1 half in the opposite direction a might quick if the all CW doesnt show anything.

Been thinkin on it all day and I dont see(in my mind) that any output will come from the 10ga with just CW bifi on the length of the tube. Like what determines which end of the 10ga becomes POS or NEG. But if Cw and CCW, then I see it possible of things not being symmetrical.  I will try the Cw and CCW after the all CW test.

It all seems too weird but easy enough to get funky with it.

Tried 2 perpendicular coils, one cw and other ccw on ferrite toroid just for fun.  Both 28 AWG joined in series.
No result.

Will try different config and core in next few days, tomorrow if possible.
