Take a while to digest that one Wilby.  You appear to know law well and is there a provision in the US constitution that allows for retroactive impeachment of public officials that are guilty of defrauding the citizens of the United States or are our elected officials exempt from criminal acts.  For e.g. the Bush cartel brings down the towers and uses various other forms of propoganda upon the members of congress to pass a bill basically abolishing all rights afforded citizens of the US.  This bill is enacted without any input from the constituents as all information in the bill is classified due to security reasons.  Were our forefathers total idiots who would make the us citizens suffer for the stupid or criminal acts of elected officials forever or is there a shortcut to impeaching various key vote makers from office in retrospect which is always 20 20 or do we have to suffer the consequences eternally for making mistakes in the past electing corrupt officials?

our forefathers were smart enough to know that with freedom comes the unlimited right to contract... if you contract away your freedoms, well... that's your right. i'm not saying they play fair and even let anyone know what they are in for, but they can get away with it since erie vs. tompkins when the courts of law and equity were merged. as you noted in your post on that other thread, caveat emptor.

as far as impeachment, good luck. i don't see to much public fervor to do anything of the sort.

As far what Wilby is saying I do believe its true.My mom showed me a long time ago how to take matters back into my own hands.I did not understand her actions at the time.I thought she had done the wrong thing even.But we lived and the people she defaulted on lived.
She owed $150.00 on a grocery store account.We would pay it off and we would rack up at least $135.00 or more the next month.The problem that $150.00 was all the child support she got each month for us kids(back in the 1960's).So after about 6 months of eating out of the store and paying the store the whole amount nearly.She decided one day not to pay it.I thought the world would cave in on us but it did not!
