A transformer wound this way could be tested using half wave rectification and full wave rectification, and a scope of course.

Alot can be understood by studying the diodes in a circuit, they pass both pos and neg energy depending on their orientation to the transformer and circuit.

Sadly my scope is on the blitz the bnc connectors ground have came loose from the pcb.

Also ED said that someone can use an iron wire for a secondary if there is not a core in the transformer, as iron can keep magnetic currents by attracting them and not let them leave the system during induction.

An other hint occurred from ED's teachings is about this asymmetric capacitors. If someone give voltage in the center, current will flow from the other pole inward. But because the other pole has a lot of bigger surface, then I suspect that the current which inflows is higher in analogy compare to what we feed the center. If now the outer bigger surface of the cap is connected to the earth through a transformer, then we have power in the secondary which is bigger than what we put in to the system through the center cap's pole.

By this, how can someone make a coil with the same characteristics as the asymmetric caps? By keeping variable inductance while the currents flows in. What is the appropriate form of a coil to accomplish this? Is it the cone?

Dave please feel free to share your opinion about diodes. I think we have the same opinion on that which is that current flows through a diode only from anode to cathode direction. Voltage pass only from cathode to anode. If someone use this knowledge then he can get what he wish by using the diode in a proper way. Diode is the only component that has this characteristic.

From what I understand from Tesla's words the iron winding creates a magnetic shunt that shields the primary, thats very interesting, more than one layer may be needed as power is increased.
Id bet using a dielectric like fiberglass and resin over the iron winding would help as well.
Lets keep pushing toward the goal.
