Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

hi Void,
Thanks for showing me the section of the nano pulser .At least now i know he is also using the same thing. :)
The 8 pin is TC422 after i spotted the brand on I/C.It is the buffer/driver from 74HCXX I/C.
This TC4422(30ns) later version i will be boosting with MC34063 to get to around 18volts(Max) to properly pulse ultra fast IGBT's which spec would mentioned <30ns or <50ns delay.  :D
For experiment i am already using 12volts supply for TC4422 but this needs to be improved later on.

Don't you think it's similar to my current nanopulser version 6.0 which i have already present in virtual many times using TC4420(6Amp)\TC4422 driver(9Amps) base on last few posting.
But check which one got lower ns delay and use that.
I just realized forgot to change the schottky diode in virtual with all 1N4148 in ver 6.0 that's all.1N4148 is faster for signal.

Take note i am using only 1 output from PWM/signal generator as well as presented in virtual ver 6.

Hi Magpwr. Good detective work on that circuit board. It looks like you are right.
Yes, it is interesting that your pulse control circuit is very similar to Ruslan's.
Is that version 6 schematic of yours complete now? It looks like that may be the way to go... :)
All the best...

hi Void,

The circuit board portion is completed.
For the the input signal you can cater for additional signal input using 270ohms and a another 1n4148 diode like Ruslan did.
But i find the voltage TC4420 located on nanopulser on Ruslan was not boosted by MC34063 circuit to around 18volts so that it can properly drive IGBT .

------------------------------

This is the latest findings.I find it strange that TC4422 perform better than TC4420 base on the peak pulse it can produce using 12volts supply in virtual.
Since i only got TC4422 which is being used in current experiment.

Take note I get better result using G4BC10UD (600Volt IGBT) than IRF540 in actual experiment if i supply TC4422 with 12volts.But this needs to be driven with 15...18volts later stage.
There is limitation in virtual that i can't change voltage for virtual TC4422.Hence for virtual screenshot i am using only IRF540.

-------------------------------
Nano pulser Circuit driver portion is final at version 6.1 as attached without mosfet or transformer
But Interface to device is not sorted out yet.

Transformer is tricky and i can't advise.Latest i am using small toroid to get this nice pulse as attached but i am supplying 400volts from my variable dc hv generator.

No heating on G4BC10UD detected.

Lastly HV probe for scope is needed around 10KV to be on the safe side. :D :D :D

Great work Magpwr, and thanks for posting the current version of your nanopulser driver circuit.
I am going to have to order some parts to give it a try. :)
All the best...

magpwr

hi everyone,

I have attached the nanopulser final update version 6.2.
Please use this version.D4-IN4148 was not added into virtual previously.

Please ignore all the previous version of nanopulser which i shall no longer discuss about it.

Please use attached screenshot of TC4422  which is taken at 50ns/div setting at 10volt/div.TC4422 is powered by 18volts from boost circuit without connecting it's output to anything.
Please use this waveform as reference only.

hi itsu,

Are you using IGBT driver eg:TC4420 (Eventually need to be using MC34063 boost voltage to 18volts) or etc to buffer PWM I/C:TL494.Recall the screenshot of PWM geneator.

It is not advisable to connect TL494 directly to mosfet or igbt even via a <10ohms resistor.
Hence IGBT driver is needed.Recall the screenshot which i mentioned TC4420..........

Magpwr,

i still follow the original Ruslan diagram, which used ucc37321 MOSFET drivers, however as i only had the non-inverted ucc37322 i am using those.
MOSFET's used are IRFP260N's.

I have (or there is) a basic problem to drive the 2x 6 turns primary of the yoke, as it is very hard to tame, you will find out.
As i never have seen any screenshot of Ruslan or Akula of the drains of the MOSFET's, i assume they have the same problem.

Regards Itsu
