       Being a social/political/monetary/legal/etc.  'watchdog' is fine, it's just that unless something affects people personally, they probably won't care.   Example:  The Falun Gong movement is banned in China by the ruling junta, even though they're a very positive social organization.   Americans don't care that the Falun Gong practitioners are sincere.   If Falun Gong go to China, they die.   Americans aren't concerned about something from another country that practices meditation, if the Americans don't.   Strong lack of concern by Americans.
       What the above discourse has to with my concerns is that these 'watchdog' groups can become aggressive when they realize that most Americans also don't care about their(the watchdogs') issues.   Falun Gong is, in effect, a watchdog organization.   The members of revolutionary groups can become convinced that the "system" is "rigged" against them if they finally realize they won't get what they want.   Even if they're Rightist in ideology.   To Americans, Rightists can be equated with Fascist Nazis.

Okay, now, this thing that's coming, people will care about.   Going hungry for a long time is something that can ruin one's positive outlook on life, to put it very lightly!!   I implied almost 3 years ago that the conditions mentioned above were coming and they actually will arrive.   It's just now, there are others saying similar words, to pretty closely echoing what I said, then.   My nay-sayers are silent now.   Maybe they know why.   Kudos the those who recognized my prediction as about to be realized.
