The global economy will likely not recover from the next financial collapse. It's got so messed up the only way out might be to scrap the entire system and endure the chaos. Most of the general public have a very weak or no understanding of how the Banking system works. People here are complaining that the banks are not passing on the interest rate cut implemented by the Reserve bank. They do not understand that the interest rate set by the Reserve bank is the price they charge for money, to make a profit the banks have to charge a bit more.

Inflation is not rising fast enough, the system is geared for maximum profits. It's all backwards when it's looked at with sanity. It must fail, there is no way out. Interest rates are almost at zero. The people who can afford to own real estate want real estate prices to rise so their investments gain worth, but if the average young person ever wants to be able to own their own home without having to borrow huge sums of money then work like a dog to pay it off then the price of real estate must fall while interest rates remain low. For most to have any hope laws need to be passed to prevent people from using Homes as a way to generate income. Everybody needs to have a home to live at, and it should not be so prohibitive to buy or build one to own. Being forced to rent is a form of slavery.

One solution would be to pass laws to prohibit people from renting houses (not flats or units) to other people, that would cause the price of houses to fall and become available for people to buy. Some people would lose a lot of money, but if you buy a house to live in then what it is worth does not matter. I see that as the only way to bring home ownership back to the masses.

I don't know what things are like there in Oz, but here in the US, no corporate fiction (14th Amendment Citizen) owns anything.  You can buy a home, but you don't own it.  You can buy a car, but you don't own it.  You don't even own what you would call your children.  The money in our wallet is owned by the Federal Reserve.  Everything is owned by the State.  Look up the Latin definitions of Residence and Domicile.  The difference is clear.

The head guy at this website http://republicbroadcasting.org/ has spent the last 25 years of his life trying to educate people what is going on and how this mess all happened.  Funny thing is, you can't go to that website from a Corporate network, it's blocked.  The insiders know what is going on; they do not want anyone else figuring it out.  Lee knows; he can't/won't tell you.  I know, but I had to dig and scratch for it.

Read these two books then tell me what it will take to turn things around.

What really sucks is this all goes WAY back.  Then you have to ask yourself, what is it really you want to go back to?  Some would be happy just following the Constitution with a democratic republic and a sound money system.  Others want to go back to the Articles of Confederation.

You see, it's nearly impossible for people that understand the problem to even agree on what it is they would be willing to fight and die for.

To put it simply, we're screwed.  There's no going back to "the good ol' days".

It's a lot like falling into a black hole; there's no telling whether we will even get through it or not and if we do, what things will be like.  One needs to lose their fear, hold on tight and try to land on their feet the best they can.  When it's over, it's over.  There isn't a lot of sense dwelling on it.

You see why I have the feeling we are screwed.  I can also sense intent and I'm not feeling the numbers are there to push off this dark cloud.  Too many seem to either be on the wrong side of the fence or are still sitting on the fence.  If they won't engage they'll soon discover the error of their ways.  As this story unfolds, I hope to feel the intent multiply as some determine the point of no return is here.  Let's hope their "Will" is strong and their numbers abundant.
