Whenever  I got infected by viral diseases,  I simply used  to sleep inside a thick blanket, so that the heat produced by the body to kill viruses is not lost to surrounding atmosphere.   Within few hours the body becomes wet due to sweating and most of the viruses get killed.  If body is exposed to atmosphere, then it (body) has to spend more energy  to maintain elevated body temperature.  Usually sick people will not have that much energy since they cannot eat more food.   
As far as my knowledge, there is no solid medicine for any viral disease because viruses mutate rapidly. Viruses may have to be killed by elevated body temperature only.
I don't know whether this technique works out for everyone and it has to be verified clinically because very high temperatures sometimes may become dangerous to the body.
