Pity Nikola Tesla's museum is not located near his birth and family home. Instead, it is over 800 km's away in Belgrade. Huh?

Did Tito play politics?    Oh shit yeah!!

I do not believe it was Tito, but yes politics and more.

Because Tesla was a Serb and not a Croat, the museum is in Belgrade, it being a Serbian capital, and not in Smiljan or Zagreb, those being in Croatia. There is still much bad blood between Serbs and Croats (too many Serbs died under Croat knives in the past) to put a museum dedicated to one of the greatest Serbs who ever lived, in Croatia.
