Great work Clanzer. That's a very interesting device. I don't think it's going to be long until we get one of these magnet motor working, self running, and generating usable force and then electrical power! This is exciting times!

Have started to play with a new wheel to try get the SEG effect.

A new wheel I milled out this weekend along with the armature that allows me to position the magnets in different configurations.

First impressions are that just lightly moving the arm back and forth does indeed rotate the wheel.
Now just got to work out the cams for automating this little one.

So nothing exciting to report so far , just thought it would be good to share.

Sounds very interesting.

Have been reading up on John Searl all week, great stuff, but the big machine stuff is way to complicated and out of my scope when it comes to making the actual magnets.

I'm curious, do you know anyone who's made the full blown Searl machine with the micro magnet formations?

The guys at http://www.searleffect.com/ are in the process of gradually making the custom magnets to build a full size SEG.
I have attached a picture of the latest produced segments, but realise this is a work in progress.

Some good hostory and phto footage from the early years are online and an interesting subject, must admit.
