Where should I be looking if I want to buy my PMA for a VAWT???

I have been looking everywhere, and it would seem that I cannot just buy the PMA alone and build around it. Does anyone know where I could get these from?

There should be some threads on this board of people who have made their own.  Also, there is one called "Blue (something)", I cant remember off hand the name of it.  It is kind of pricey (300 or so).  You could use an alternator out of a junkyard car and do a little modding.

check the specs for these out i think you will find them to be acceptable and low rpm and they come with a 20 year warranty and can be grid tie or charge control type for off the grid systems we are building low velocity windmills and recomend these for or units

Yes, as did I. However other than the manufacturer supply companies, and the people selling whole units, I had not come across anyone selling actual PMG units by the piece. Unless of course I want to pay 5000 for a whole Vawt system and scalp the pmg out of it.....
