That's how you think, how could Tesla realize the collection of ions from a large volume of air? From a very large volume of air?

Do you think the "Tractor beam" is only in the Star Wars films? This is not entirely true.

I think this is the right time for Don Smith to be on the forefront. Looks like that he used special materials to extract charges from, in big quantities. Between of them is a commercial and cheap plasma bulb wraped with coils or cap plates. He also talked about steel, magnets or magnet powder, thorium, and some more.

So we have page after page about 'Ions' so what is an ion ? is it a part of the sun, or perhaps a bit of the ionosphere? what is it?
or perhaps a new type of incoming atomic particle with a charge?  Anyone know yet?

Read again Sergy's links about cosmic rays. In general, when passing  they hit particles in our atmosphere and the latter loose electrons becoming charged particles aka ions.

  I'm surprise that Tesla actually said that. As he didn't think in terms electrons, positrons, nuetrons, etz.
As there is the Aether, Cosmic Soup, Cosmic Rays, even outside our Earth's atmosphere. Like Ionic winds.  No, you won't see any of those  non-things, but as the source of free energy, they exist all around us, and in deep space, as well.
