I also wanted to try this. The secondary coil is wound in two wires. To exclude a galvanic connection between the bases of the transistors. And unipolar power could be used. But I haven't had time yet. Maybe something unusual will happen at Christmas.But this has nothing to do with Ruslan.

The diagram you mentioned I drew back in 2013. My memory already fuzzy on which akula's device but I think it was attempt to lay out his 1st device

When looking back that diagram still had missing parts, like HV. Which is critical for influencing the output.
