Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

What load is connected to the drain of your Q5 MOSFET now?

During testing for saturation, the load is a 0.1 Ohm resistor in series with the primary (6 turns) of the  little toroid.
Secondary (12 turns) has nothing connected to.

So as you are increasing the pulse width (increasing the effective resistance at R12) using the monostable made out of U3, the pulse width suddenly increases from 500ns to 20us. Correct?

Correct, see last part of the video, so no other options then to stay within this window (37-500ns) and try to increase the number of turns on the primary for trying to find the saturation point of the toroid.

Great,  thanks.

:) should just reverse it and use the 12 and see if you can get near saturation then

My toroid is slightly larger than the specified dimensions but much smaller than Itsu's and I cannot reach saturation with a 6 turn primary. I can only get a couple more turns on the primary, so will try reversing. Been tied up with electronics for a living but hope to get back to the nano pulser soon. I may avoid a re-lay of the VCO and nano pulser by using TTL for both chips.
