           where did you dig up those figures? They seem a bit too consistent to be real world.
   I would guess there ought to be some variation, particularly  the leading and last cars.

Just allow that a line of race cars that are drafting as a whole consume less fuel than if the cars were separated far enough not to draft, and see what point Camelherder is intent on making.  I'll wager that Camelherder remains confused about what it means to put two processes in series.  Camelherder is going to have a devil of a time claiming that pushing cars close enough together to draft constitutes placing a new lossy process in series with the processes in place when the cars travel with large separations.
