Possible truth about Steorn

I agree the Steorn "News" hasn't been updated since August 25th this year. Also someone should tell Steorn that their site no longer works without the "www" At least at the time of this writing and for at least one week-- http://steorn.net  There are hundreds of sites that point to the Steorn site without the www.

IMHO the above-mentioned items are just coincidences, perhaps by accident or on purpose. What I'm referring to are very clever tactics. IMHO nobody, including Steorn, will notice anything too odd. That is why a lot of people do not follow the conspiracy theories. Because the groups who oppose global "free energy" are clever. For example, 90% of the people posting on this forum could be people from groups whose agenda is to suppress "free energy," but you and I would be hard pressed to notice it. You could say most of these groups for the most part use passive legal tactics.

I'm afraid being too naive.
Yes, suggesting some 'conspiracies' is the best way to be scoffed.

My reason (and some experiments) is telling me that Free NRG devices (particularly 'magnet motors' and 'water fuel cells') are definitely possible.

My intuition was suggesting me that this Steorn story could actually be an huge campaign of misinformation.
To me that sounds 'too good to be true' or 'too simple to be credible'.

I've been a System Admin since 1997, software engineer since 1980 and self-taught electronics engineer. So I know of legal methods of hearing chatter in addition to numerous other non-Internet methods. I mentioned the group in Germany because this group is passive. They have their own agenda and use legal methods of distracting legitimate "free energy" designs. Personally I would be frightened to mention other groups who use more aggressive methods.

There are groups somewhat more aggressive who tap into computers. My 10 years of Internet security was not enough to prevent a group from breaking into my machine for the sole purpose of analyzing my research. I was tracking this group up till the point I posted this thread. Every few minutes, 24 hours per day, every day they performed a quick scan. Right after I posted this thread the quick scans stopped.

Not much can remain a secret, at least nothing that is electronically transmited?

I'm sure most here are familiar with ECHELON, but just in case :

I apologize to everyone about this topic. It's not a good topic, but IMHO it is very important.

My intuition was suggesting me that this Steorn story could actually be an huge campaign of misinformation.

I hope your intuition is incorrect, but my intuitional agrees with you. Yet we must not allow suppression techniques to destroy our hope. We must give every one and every group a chance. It is unfortunate that time after time after time our hopes are lifted and then dropped like a ton of bricks. Steorn might end up like all the countless companies and inventors who've promised everything, but faded out of the limelight.

I don't think the science community will ever give another "free energy" machine a chance, ever! It might be a long time before ABC or other major television networks want to be tricked again. The public might ignore the real smoking gun. If true then it's up to people like us to spread the news. That is why the following is vitally important:

Regardless how many times our hopes are crushed, every time an inventor freely publishes the exact build instructions of a machine that runs by itself and generates extra energy we need to build it and give them the benefit of the doubt!!!!!!!  Forums can be flooded to distract the invention. ABC, CNN, etc. can ignore the inventor. The science community can bash the inventor. Inventors can vanish. Inventor usernames on forums can be impersonated and announce "Folks, sorry, I found a flaw in my invention. It does not work!"  But if enough people don't forget and build the machine then it's possible to spread the news.

I predict this will be the year we win, the year of "Free Energy"!
