Lets say you had a current node of a real standing wave that contains alot of energy, is the current on the current node  more weakly attached since same charges are more dense?

In an event of a cancellation of field, the dominant field is the one that takes over.

But this "cancellation" is what? Only a probability of cancellation? Probability of collision?

Guys I was asked by Toolofcortex to add my 5 cents to the subject of this discussion.
I don't know what to start from and don't offend anyone of you.
I see a lot of misunderstanding of properties and mechanisms  of wave by both conflicting parties.
All of you have  good sense in  individually independently  mentioned  elements of phenomena in question.
First you can't  take phenomena from classical mechanics and mix them with phenomena of quantum mechanics.

To avoid your protest let's understand what belongs to what :

Since the end of the 20th century, classical mechanics in physics has no longer been an independent theory.
Instead, classical mechanics is now considered an approximate theory to the more general quantum mechanics.

At first  there was classical mechanics only and nobody knew that it will become a part of quantum world.
Quantum  phenomena are not explainable by classical mechanics!!!!That is why quantum mechanics rules now!!
At first  there was Ether/ aether  only and nobody knew  that it will become outdated and rejected /exchanged  by another modern models.
In my personal opinion in 1918, it was mostly Russian Rebel influenced by lack of education  and later caused by historical events of Lenin, Stalin and WW2 time 
eliminating imprisoning liquidating  teachers , and  Eastern Europe was fulled around .
In the effect of it some of Russian Scientists, and/or researchers  still believe in aether
But some of them believe that earth is flat.

here are few  gentleman like Solar Lab who have their own opinion and may also be influenced/ "motivated' ,
by the same far "Eastern Mechanisms" to   promote physics  " their way."
The goal here is to slow down or stop progress  heavily  popularized by Tariel Kapanadze.

The key figures here on this forum and in  physics that are considered to be a marking points or mile stones in our progress
are being seen by some Russian propaganda as immediate discomfort and  danger .
They must be stripped from public respect,  humiliated or even eliminated.
Unofficial figure of 67% is Russian dependency from oil and natural gas sale.
The Russian regime structure holds on  money stolen from it and deposited in our
Western world in form of personal accounts and properties.
But future is uncertain and you guys may  complicate or destroy that mechanism and that is why
these guys are watching you carefully and interfere with your progress.
They see the end is coming, but they don't want it to end now. 
That is why we sometime have human elements drifting your discussion, or flooding it with  garbage.


Standing wave (in mechanics) has longitudinal wave properties and is mechanical wave 
By that only classical mechanic branch of quantum  world can be used  to explain it.
Electromagnetic Standing wave (in quantum mechanics) doesn't have longitudinal wave properties and is not  mechanical wave 
By that can not be explained by  classical mechanic branch of quantum  world known as classical mechanics.

The first mistake that some of you make here is that you mixing in your explanation  both worlds -
the quantum and classical mechanics.
Your fights takes good solid piece of theory,that is physically sensed by your senses and you throwing it against something
that belongs  entirely to quantum physics - is invisible and only one of your senses can sense it- your eye and only in the region of visible light.
And light is electromagnetic wave.

So let's take  classical approach:
Water wave has
-no impedance,
-no inductive and capacitive reactive components,
-no magnetic field .
-no requirement for AC current/ or DC current
-no TE or TM( Transverse magnetic) polarization
and so on.

You can use some analogy from classical world to visualize behavior of EM wave
but that is as far as you can go.

In quantum world
electromagnetic in nature -Standing wave is the wave but is "standing"

The superposition principle holds for electromagnetic waves just as for electric and magnetic fields.

however  when we get to
Energy & Momentum, of Electromagnetic Waves we need to be specific in what method  of analysis we can apply.
example:90 degrees' phase difference between the oscillating electric field and the oscillating magnetic field
doesn't exist in longitudinal wave  .
But if standing wave has any importance to us , it is because we may extract some of its energy for our own use.
So the question to you  is, why  you are so puzzled in it anyway?

Energy can not be taken from <nothing>.
Energy can not be destroyed nor created.
Energy can only change its form
TARIEL KAPANADZE or any other  person seeing his device working without battery or without any other  power supply is not seeing <overunity> or <aboveunity>.
They see what their senses allowed them to see.

-Beta particle is quite energetic
-Alpha particle is even more energetic

-Gamma  are not particles but electromagnetic waves.


All 3 types can affect your health but, don't have too.
So if they don't... you'll have no idea that you ever had something  to do with them.
Understanding that you drive on tank full of gasoline makes you- "don't smoke when refueling and don't drink it."

Gasoline, Nuclear energy, Wind, Solar are just sources of energy
- these sources  don't kill , - people kill people.
People are polluting and destroying.
