Hallo Stefan,

Hi Norbert and all,
I answer in German and english.

I just also changed the number of postings per page again,
as many people complanied about only having 5 postings per page,
so I doubled it now to 10 postings per page, thus the thread pages have now halfed
in all topics.

I could also install now 20 postings per page, as the new ad mod allows
the variable integration of ads every n-th postings...
Should I do this ? Or are 10 postings per page okay ?

Regards/ Gruss, Stefan.

hartiberlin i would love to have myname@overunity.com,  this would also bring revenue to you. see http://www.everyone.net/offer-free-email.html

@FeeEnergy
This is too complicated to host here and also
too sensible to implement.

I would rather go into installing an optional  membership
fee based site.
The normal user still can surf the site for free,
but all people, who want to see the latest experiments
right from the last days, must get paying members.
Just a small fee, like 5 US$ per month or something like
this, like a subscription to a magazine...

Then these payments will go into a big "bowl"
and some parts will be used to pay active experimenters
for their hard work.
So these experimenters would benefit from the work they are
doing and the community will get fresh new test results and
faster exploration of the subjects.

It has to be agreed on then how much payment for
what research work is paid out, for instance
via PayPal, Moneybooker or E-Gold
or simular electronic cash systems.

There would be a minimum of documentation work
also to be done for the done experiments...

This is my future view, how such a forum could
get supported .

I still need to checkout the membership plugin mods,
which are not yet stable, so this will be a project for 2007
as I still have other work to do this year.

Regards, Stefan.

DAMN, $5 at 3000+ users, that would be $15,000 a month, LOL!!!, I wouldn't stay to see that, for I would want a cut. A fee based site wouldn't work, hehe.

lol :)

Well,
imagine,
if I just keep 500 US$ per month and pay 500 US$ to charity and
pay out 14.000 US$ for experimenters like you for new articles,
how fast we could move on !
