Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I have posted this design in NASA techbriefs contest.  Anybody liking it can vote for it.

I just want to know whether that design is practically feasible.

You do realize that the magnets will do nothing but add extra weight to the craft--dont you?.

If you want a magnetic flying device, then you would use large field coils(probably 4),and use those field coils the same way a hovercraft uses air to float above water or land. The field coils would need a large field area, but would not have to be that powerful--PSI--many square inches, less pounds per square inch lift needed. These field coils then use the earths magnetic field to work against, much the same as the hovercraft uses air.

Magnets are used in that design just to transfer the energy of air jets to the top plate to create a vertical lift.  The air jets should
be powerful enough to take the weight of entire system including magnets creating a substantial lift upwards.

A howercraft can create a lift or air cushion of less than one inch by high pressure air trying to escape between ground and bottom of the
craft. If you keep hovercraft at higher elevation, the air coming out of the craft cannot create any lift at all unless you provide a rocket
engine creating rocket propulsion.

Earth's magnetic field is very weak hence it cannot create any lift of the other repelling magnet.  If you use a very strong repelling magnet,
it may cause reversal of earth's magnetic field in that local area, resulting in attraction.

Why would you use all that extra weight, when you could just use directional nozzles to direct the air flow where ever you wanted.

The air pressure is actually quite low,due to the surface ares of the vehicle being lifted.
Example-with a small area of just 18.3 square feet,we only need 10 PSI to lift 1 ton. That is an area of just around 4.2 feet x 4.2 feet--not very large at all.

I think you would be surprised at just how strong the earths magnetic is per square foot.

That is for controlling the lift.  Can you make a rocket to stand at desired height like a helicopter?
