This is most typical of "entitled" people that make everything into a Joke whenever possible and suddenly find it is hard to be taken seriously ,or even participate in a serious conversation.[they end up in the dark and confused]

This is a short animation of how the machine in the patent does not operate.
It's visually a bit different but it's based on patent information and principal.
The large flywheel was added to slow the operation and to measure gain in energy if existent.


You can see that at the point where the load is shifted onto the crank arm, the roberval arms are low and the leverage shift causes an upward pull which works against the crank direction instead of adding to it as thought.
