    A peculiarity of  Bessler's Wheel(as explained at   www.evert.de/eft730e.htm   ) and of Milkovic's  "Hammer with a pendulum" (as you find at   www.veljkomilkovic.com/OscilacijeEng.html   ),is in the same time a common method to collect from the fulcrum/pivot ,the decreasing oscillatory charge-discharge of a free swinging pendular motion.
     Usually,this stress,in a common pendulum,remains  "immerged" in the fulcrum,support  because is considered as an uninteresting physical tension or pressure.
     Maybe  Bessler,bur evidently Milkovic take advantage of it.
     As you swing a pendulum in your hand ,and all the pressure that you feel is "piled up" ,gathered  in some way ...
