14 volt 18xx series panel lamps typically draw 35ma.  As I stated
in the posts you deleted, there are some "specials" that are higher wattage.
However, CaptainLoz seemed to indicate the lamps were not particularly special.

All it would take is a lamp number or a quick connection of the two lamps directly
to the DC supply to determine their wattage.  What's the big deal? Connect the
lamps in series across the supply and if they draw 20 watts at similar brightness,
the debate is over.

However, if they draw way less than that, it is very likely the scope's math
is programmed incorrectly.

Why do you keep going on about the LED bulb?  You do realize how
most LED lamp circuits work don't you?  Current regulation anyone?

Why do you refuse to discuss the small incandescent panel lamps?

It seems you should be somewhat familiar with the incandescent panel
lamps being discussed.  I thought I had seen those lamps and sockets
somewhere else and sure enough, you seemed to be using very similar lamps
and sockets in a 2014 video you made.

If you believe the bulbs CaptainLoz used in his video and
referred to as "flashlight" bulbs can handle 15 watts each,
then he can easily put the naysayers to rest by putting the two
lamps in series across his  DC supply and show the world
how they can dissipate a total of 30 watts.

As for Brad's gizmo, your rewrite of history is way off base and
the truth is available in threads on this site for all to see.  Poynt99, TK, MarkE,
myself and others actually helped him solidify his measurements
and were becoming convinced he was on to something until
Brad himself unexpectedly pulled the MIB/Mylow card.  This
forum has not been the same since.

So now, who knows...

But that was good for a change of subject anyway...

The bulbs in the video appear to have the E10 screw base. The
bulb you posted an image of has a larger E14 base.

Take variac and feed bulb ... note temp at different inputs


Captain can check power thru bulbs with thermometer
