High voltage HHO by IronHead

Make sure you can turn the container inside the field without obstruction.
You know there will be a narrow sweet spot.Also put a sheet of vented aluminum foil over top  ,might get a few EVO holes or "blue pins" . Just  look close after you shut it down.

If the plates want to be sideways, I'll have to build a new cell, still have enough ss for another.

Would be smart to map the potential field (A-field) to see how it really manifests in a stretched toroid.  Should be more linear inside than depicted by a round ring toroid.   I'll take a few minutes to do this first.  Might have to connect cell +|||||||||||- and remove the split with only one coil if the potential is end to end, but if the potential is actually inside to outside - got to go tubular (I'll cheat and roll flat sheets) or go back to the split positive and make 'er crossed to keep potential drop linear.

Perforated foil - hmm - could be a market for that - LOL!

Ain't nobody tried everything yet and this ain't normal "potential" I'm dealing with - linear with distance - not inverse squared.

Hey Grumpy this is fascinating stuff your into...don't suppose pic and explanations could be involved later on hey....Can't find this type of stuff in text books or on the web...

I think a single plate might tell you enough to  know if you should build onto the mechanical or  more toward the electronic.

My progress report, in lesser detail:
Built 2 19 plate cells, both of 316L and GOOP marine, one acrylic and one polycarbonate.   Polarized and ran the acrylic cell as per instructions, but never got it to draw much current, and no gas production to speak of, even with 36 volts applied, in two different srping waters.

I must review the thread beyond pg 14.  Time constraints, ya know..

Anyhow, I wanna make tests on materials compatability, so to that end I've spent most of my available project time on fashioning 2x3" plates to be affixed by a variety of means, and tested under a variety of solutions and conditions (Pulse or amps, KOH, NaOH, acids,etc).

That containment PVC bucket took HOURS to make, notwithstanding the time to remove all them dang screws holding the lid on...(what was I thinking?!?) so I've cannibalized a case of wide-mouth canning jars.   Hole saw thru the center of lid, sandwich two acrylic discs with sealer and MEK glue, drill and tap for contacts and 1/4 pipe output fitting, and presto- a quick and dirty containment vessel suitable for output measurement and process testing.   Pics to follw in 4 days.

Take your time, man; you've been there and have a grip on the process.   For those too impatient for the outcome, y'all might jest as well use the opportunity to learn some patience.
