Turtlefuel

Hello,

Have you heard of the Peter Daysh Davey heater ?
#4 on this page : http://energia.sl.pl/

This is not an electrolysis device but a very simple device that produces heat + some minor electrolysis as a side effet.

I have built one from two bike ring clocks and got an efficiency of 1.12 (only measuring the temperature increase and the vaporated water) so very little excess heat but given the fact that in my setup :
- the two semi bowls were not perfectly spherical
- the two semi bowls were not accoustically resonnating at 50Hz frequency

I believe that someone with better equipment than me could give it a serious go.

The Pajak site mentions an efficienct ratio of 20 if properly tuned ! Not sure how serious this is...

Here is a link to a French forum where you can see pictures of replications and some more data if you can read French :

I like this idea, its really simple!

For a water heater reservoir in a house, you remove the current heater element with this device! But the replication I see from the forum link are not using the same piece. Seam to me that you need 2 different semi bowl, one bigger then another one, and its from the photo the material used is COPPER not stainless steel with bigger space between both bowl.

Here some photo of the real device

Hi Over_Unity_dot_com blokes!

My 2 cents about Davey:
http://freenrg.info/Sonettes_Davey/ (In French sorry).

I made some devices and some measurements.
I got a COP slightly >1.
But it does not mean nothing according to the possible measurement errors.

All I can say is that my device seems slightly more efficient than a kettle. I did not manage to boil water (during my measurements) because I used a 16 amp circuit breaker that went out.  :-\

BTW, as stated by Turtlefuel, it seems that you can get hydrogen along...

Anyway, a friend of mine told me that he once got an obviously huge COP (with a more serious='tight' device) (he is a retired Metal fitter/machinist) and that he could not believe his eyes!

So, IMHO worth to be studied.
For my part, I' m a bad machinist....  :-[

I have no problem seeing this device as more efficient than a standard heater element.

1. Current flow will create heat
2. If properly constructed, it will vibrate and cause friction.
3. It can possibly create cavitation effect too.

Mind you:
It is not an efficient way to generate hydrogen/oxygen and hydrogen/oxygen is an unwanted thing if you only look at it as a heater element.

I bet hydrogen/oxygen generation is the reason why the device won't go mainstream no matter what its efficiency is.
