I don't think Thrapp is gonna give his secrets away.  He seems to talk about 100 donation in every other sentence, and what comes after giving him money?  It doesn't seem like he would tell you even if you donated. 

Seems like his heater might have something to do with Stifflers setup.  He talks about using achieving voltage and precise tuning, and made a comment saying,"you don't need amperage, you can make amperage."  I even believe this might tie into stubblefields cell, only a solid state version.  Thrapp also knows how stubblefields cell operated.  Perhaps the arc lights stubblefield used produced similar effects to the neon or even the plasma ball tesla studied.  I wonder if the two mirrored surfaced parabolic bowls in stubblefields heater could be made using Stifflers driver?  I guess I could be totally off here but what the heck.

Thrapp asks for money as a type of filter. It helps git rid of the people wanting free plans or wasting his time in other ways. Listening to the interview, it is clear he has developed free energy devices. Why he can't say more could be because he is not working along. He is maybe honoring his agreements with his other researchers who have maybe invested their money in hopes of getting it back which doesn't happen from giving the plans away.

That said?my advice for him, to increase his karma and stop the silly guessing if he is genuine or not, is to GIVE away the plans of one of his more simple and maybe less commercially viable free energy devices such as the delay motor.

THEN he will not have to ask for donations. People will be flooding his paypal box with donations galore!

Why he doesn't do that is maybe because he's a better inventor than a business man.

I finally got to listen to the interview and here's my 2 cents.....

Why would he expect us to build him a factory?  If he was serious about helping the world, he'd simply have the units built in pre-existing factories and get this ball rolling.  If quality control is an issue, inspect the factory.  I'd bet if he had one single unit that can be replicated then the water heaters could be produced in the thousands within a couple of months.  There should be no worry about someone else taking his idea...he's already taken someone elses.

Just my opinion, but if he'd get a good 8 hours of sleep one night things would start making a lot more sense.

Perhaps when someone talks to Thrapp again, they should ask him to consider Steorn's business model.  They have a developers forum and their intention is to offer licensing from corporate to individual tickerers.
