Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Someone with a good knowledge of how to apply finite element method is needed to model that and shorten the daunting trial and error effort to find these optimum conditions. I don't think SIMM and Maxwell3D are enough for this purpose but I may be wrong.

Low-Q

You're right. Simulations are not perfect as the allowed space for the magnets to work in is limited in such manner that some magnetic lines are able to just escape and not coming back - if you know what I mean. At least it is something like that which happens in Femm. Till date permanent magnets has not been able to do work, ofcourse because the magnetism is static. I wonder if enyone some day find a way to make a REAL magnet motor. Till then we have free energy for at least 5 billion years to come directly from the sun ;)

Perhaps the magnets need to be mapped and matched.
Look for: Johnson - The Secret World of Magnets (Spintronics) (2006).pdf

Also additional note is attached.

While interesting...i don't think this has any real potential
ive seen similar videos on youtube that seem to do more than this....
i think one was called The Smith Ramp...

Some good reading is attached.

What matching might that be? If the magnets (the stations) are exactly the same the problems I've already outlined are inevitable and some special conditions have to be sought (already achieved in Lego Perpetuum Mobile, @xpenzif and @alsetalonkin, to name a few) which would provide a continuous dis-balance between the forward and the always existing backward drag. If the magnets (the stations) aren't exactly matching there will always be one station with a higher potential barrier which will ensure the rotation along almost the entire closed loop until that same barrier is encountered, unable to be overcome, which will halt the motion to a stop.
