Everyday I check the water level in the bubbler and it disappears. I have no idea where it goes.

The water level is half way and it can in no way get into the intake line.

I have 2 one way pass valves between the cell and the bubbler.

My thought is the cell heats the water when the cell shuts off the water cools and the air condenses causing a vacuum in the out line of the cell. And pulling the water (by vacuum) out of the bubbler.

To prevent this I added a one way pass valve under the water in the bottom of the cell. This way when there is a vacuum it will pull air from there.

But it seems the vacuum in the cell can still pull (very slowly) through the line between the bubbler and the cell.

Has anyone had the same problem? How do I correct it?

RT you will loose some water     can you pull hose off intake at night  or long stops  to try and nail down when  loss is happening        positively no accidental syphoning?    does the cell level rise?{will rise with heat}  your bubbler design looks good   what is the black arch?[in the bubbler]
Whats for yah ne're go bye yah
Thanks Grandma

The black arch is a tube to prevent the brass wool from moving down.

is your bubbler mounted higher than the cell? i think you should be able to use gravity to overcome the vacuum, by mounting the cell higher, if thats it?

Draco Rylos

you could do like Zerofossilfuel says he is going to do in a future version of his cell and have the bubbler connected into his cell with a common link so any electrolytic fluid that comes into the bubbler from the cell is returned to the cell via the link between the cell and the bubbler. But that is if you get a excess electrolyte moving from the cell to the bubbler, which is not what you are asking. Changing the placement of the cell and the bubbler with the bubbler at a higher level may keep it from drawing water from your bubbler. That is just my opinion.
