Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

That is absurd, no one is saying anything like that at all, as i suspect you well know...

You are just miffed that some people didnt clap for the required 10 minutes ;)

No, the OP is saying exactly that.  The OP's position is that the fakes started after episode 6 or so, and the reason for the fakes is that the MiB put pressure on Mylow to discredit himself, and what better way than by being proved a fake?  So the latter fakes are proof of an MiB conspiracy, and why would there be an MiB conspiracy if the originals were not real?

So, the fake fakes are at least some evidence that the original videos were real, right?

Eh, no one is offering these points as "proof" of anything, they are ideas worthy of debate.

Lol, but the problem is they are ideas that arn't following the current Party line... And thus the denigration and attack mentality ;)

I didn't like this when i saw this a couple weeks ago on the Mylow group either (going the other way). It doesn't matter who's doing it, its bad for the exchange of ideas (...and i often wonder if that is the actual point of it).

What's going on now i blame it on the "adrenalin addiction syndrome" lol... Polite discussion just doesn't seem ego-gratifying enough any more. Brow-beat them into submission! Impress your will on someone! Regular old debate pails in comparison to that fun lol ;)

Ideas worthy of debate?  They are just "what if" games.

This is comical.  It also demonstrates the mental glitch that causes otherwise rational people to fall for conspiracy theories.

Most people's reaction to discovering that an experiment is faked: "Um gee, I don't think that guy's is on the level.  I am not really going to trust him anymore, barring a really really good explanation for this."

The conspiracy theorist's response: "You know, it's just possible that the early videos were on the level, and then "they" got to him and threatened him (no corroborating evidence of either event, but that's ok) and convinced him to inject a very subtle mistake into one of the later videos to discredit himself."

Of course if a string is discovered in EVERY video, the next natural explanation is that "they" discovered Mylow's secret project and wanted MyLow to publicly discredit himeself so he can never get funding for his secret, really truly genuine working models.

What if's are great fun, but it's all just speculation and pretty much a waste of time.

Thx for your opinion ;)

It is my opinion that they are of interest... And not particularly the device and fakery itself anymore, but the MOTIVE and story behind the fakery. And that failing to examine these possibilities and motives could lead to great misunderstandings and wrong conclusions about these events.... To the detriment of the community (...and that may have been the whole point in the first place).

You disagree, apparently.

However, beyond the discovery of the string fakery in the later videos, you have nothing to go on either except your opinion ;). There is no "smoking gun" for "Motive" and "Association" here; no videos. This part of the discussion is no longer specifically "scientific" in that it has moved to the realm of "politics" or "criminal psychology" i guess. So we are faced with speculation on both sides (until more facts are found). So don't fall into the fallacy that your opinion automatically trumps someone else's, when that is all there is to go on ;)

Instead of trying to convince others that it is "comical", hop-in to the discussion and give your opinion on the "Congressional Office phone call" question (which is a loose end here not explained by any strings).

Here's an important thing to think about: You may not have all the required information yet to make an ultimate judgment on this affair. In the meantime, what will it cost you to consider the possibilities?

I will be glad to consider those possibilities after the first successful replication from an impartial source.  Until then, why even bother?  We are speculating on what is more likely to be real, MyLow's motor or the mythical MiBs?  Zeus or Allah?  Tooth fairy or tinkerbell?  Who cares?
