A new branch to investigate.

Ok with the hamming coming out from TK 2004 TIN CAN you will realise that if anyone had an inverter/charger and a dead battery it is not easy for the inverter/charger to charge the dead battery with no hamming, the hamming is due to the high amperage being drawn to charge the dead battery sitting on the work bench.

That is why when he unplug it from the grid the ham stops.

But what am interested in is the hamming after and inside the TIN CAN..

If you are referring to humming, which i believe you do, then humming always points to a transformer core being under magnetostriction.
So at some point there is a transformer with a core being fed with 50 Hz or multiples of it.
The hum is stronger with the AC connected due to the phase difference as someone already pointed out here.
Without the AC, TK still needs a transformer to couple his generated AC to the circuit to then current-amplify it.

You are absolutely right. TK was actually doing experiments in front of the camera and said the battery was flat so he was going to try another way. This is linked to his patent in which he says that the device can be started in several different ways.

The only possible solution is that it is HV.

In oil it would surpass any coil you could imagine.
