The device was started by the application of a 9 volt pp3 type battery. The normal way TK starts his devices.
The device was stopped by a button on the outside of the box.
It ran for maybe 1 to 2 seconds after the button was pressed and then stopped.
In other words, the spark gap continued firing for a maximum of between 1 and and 2 seconds after switch off and then stopped.

The transformer noise is the same noise like in TK demonstration, so almost for sure we are on the right track.

If this is the right track, where does TK get the high power in the first place to create the 'noise', even if the power consumed by the load can be reduced by an earthing arrangement? Grum's demo is pulling grid power big time!
