The large circle  show second wire from HV pushed into coil.
and notice that coil was already winded so the guy could not really know  exactly where is resonant point. He must of be guessing .
Also the rigid metal (end wire) from HV module is pushed by force ( by hand) into insulation previously nicely raped around the coil.

Question is   TO RUSSIAN FRIENDS AND RUSSIAN FORUMS but not only  Russians. ( as they are very familiar with the device normally used for HV ....spark gap of gas pilot lighter )
How rigid is this metal wire extending from  withe plastic?
Do you think this wire was pushed into  electrical tape  wrap
#1- in between coil winds
or
#2- inside the insulation of  the coil wire ( beneath  the wire skin) and was touching copper of the wire?

conclusion:
if #1 than we have capacitive coupling of HV to the copper of the coil in that very much specific (resonance) point but still insulated by external insulation of the wire..

if#2 than we have  electrical connection  to the coil wire.


In general we are dealing here with tuning point....
Please adjust  in your schematic this factor and present schematics in the new form ( with respect to this point)

The tuning point  is chosen in specific coil and specific place of the coil..

What is uncertain about the used ignition control module is whether it has been modified in any way or if it is being used as it comes off-the-shelve.
The 3rd (right) output port of these kind of modules is usually the flame sensor,
that does nothing more than to communicate to the IC, if the gas is inflamed or not.
It is a simple switch, nothing more. The thing is once it switches, the module
can go into lockout (off-the-shelve that is). It is a safety measure.

Placing the sensor onto the HV winding might simply force the device to keep on running by picking up stray HV and fooling the IC.

My opinion on ignition control module : The flame sensors there is most likely to interrupt HF oscillations at 50/60Hz second transformer resonance so output can still be on that resonance and kicked on peaks only for additional capacitor charge. Again, it is all about 2 different size pendulums in mechanics while shorter pendulum gives push to longer pendulum on correct timing approach.

I was there some mounts ago without any miracles,

However preparing a various experiments I pulled coax cable through copper tube, I was intending to connect ends to some arrangement and I got seriously shocked by HV.  :o
I repeated experiment and it happened again. I concluded that it must be by sliding plastic insulation of the coax mechanically building a charge it the coax cable.
I did not pay attention to that.
But after all those discussions last week I was thinking that it might be possible to induce or statically produce a same effect.
Tesla reported this to long time ago.
Another ting what may be of importance is that in the resonant transformer must be easier to match resonance properties of primary-secondary with the coax wire only.
Anyway more experiments have to be done in this direction.
