There may be some confusion with PJK book. I think I have the latest version where Chapter 3 page 72 is discussing Kwang-jeek's Lees Power amplification patent.

Are you refering to Don Smith's work? As there is a picture of a device in Chapter 3 page 25 that works on the same principle as that posted by Spark's earlier on.

I am using PJK book Version 19.81 12/12/2011. Are there any newer versions out there?

       Why go bother irradiating iron.   Just irradiate nitrogen and get some carbon 14 and fast electrons.  Plenty of nitrogen around and the carbon will only be radioactive for 5thousand fucking years.  I love this idea.   Take some benign stable element and have it decay all the way to arsenic.   What we should be doing is using rf to clean up the mess we already have.  Either scrape those spent nuclear fuel rods off and throw them back inside the acid or give them a one way trip to the Sun.  You want to have some fun transmutate lead into Gold not iron into arsenic.
