You are both right.  I have been studying these end time scenarios long enough to draw parallels from both sides, actually many sides.  Both of these stories have been around a long time.  Don't forget that despite appearances, All things work together for good ultimately.  This fantastic drama, drawn out over millenniums, is designed to raise our awareness and help us grow into our potential.  It is true that the "space hippy" Pleiadians are trying to liberate the planet, and the Illuminati refuses to give up their control, which is why the economy is deadlocked right now.  But there is a median in between, and it will be heaven that imposes the divine timeout, and bring everyone to a reasonable point of consensus.  The Stargate in Norway is such an event.  Everyone stops, says WTF, and tries to figure out what the hell that thing is.  There will be more events like this, and their effect on us will become increasingly more profound, until we are so mystified that we forget about fighting and money.  It will open our spirit senses and everyone will forget about the illusion that the illuminati call modern life.  We will learn how to live as we are meant to live, Free!  Look at Everything that has come before and consider it to be a school.  Graduation day is coming, and it is called the Ascension...
