Why? Marvelous is not the word from their track record in history in my opinion. They are one of the largest land owners in the world not to mention other investments. I don't believe any church should be in the business of making money.

There's something else as well:
Ever hear of the Inquisition?  And descendants of the Templars, Jews, Cathars, Gypsies, Muslims, women accused of being witches, etc, etc., etc. of the period are supposed to forget that?!?!

No, I don't think so!!!.  To put it as an understatement of record-breaking proportions!!!!  Staggering audacity!!!!!
