I bet that I could have more profound effects with potters plaster than this guy.

The crystal power cell is so fallible in it's makeup, that any chemist could replicate those effects..

so long as this guy isn't sharing the makeup - he might as well be using radioactive isotopes to create beta-cells.  This is nothing new.

I hate to rain on the parade, but this seems like a lot of hogwash.

whats the best anyone has done? i once produced .3 volt at 27mah but it destroyed the electrodes. both electrodes were aluminum from the same source by the way. it also produced hydrogen while doing this it was short lived and very expensive as batteries are concerned.  the earth obviously contains energy and some have reported rocks producing electricity that is not piezoelectric.  there was a different scientist that i believe was in germany testing a solid crystaline battery, if they ran it dead they gave it some time and it self charged.

theres the electric ray which is a electric eel meets stingray, it puts rare quartz in its inner ear. this quarts makes up 3% of the worlds quartz. found that out on wiki

I think Marcus Reid has the record. His crystal batteries have been loaded since the 1990's @ 1 volt. Not sure if it produced consistent current, but all the figures I've seen are around 1mA. He's now working with a company to market his crystal batteries. Sounds like he's made some major improvements lately.

You know, I can see, acfter studying Lichtenberg how a substance can hold an electric charge, it's entirely possible that ambient electrical emissions could charge a substance, and then release it.

I guess the trick would be having it do so continuously.
